Horrible instructions for novice, but it works!
Ok, so I replace an old remote door locking kit in my 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis. This is not the best way of hooking it up, but it works for what I wanted the kit to do. The kit is installed in the driver side door panel under the window/door lock panel. I hooked up the BLACK ground wire to the door panel into the metal door. I then found the constant hot wire to the door locks and combined that wire with the WHITE and WHITE/BLACK STRIPE wire. I then put the YELLOW wire to the wire under the lock/unlock switch that locked the door. Next, I put the YELLOW/BLACK STRIPE wire to the unlock signal wire in the switch. That was it! I did not use the other wires and just capped then off. The only other one I might use is the forked brown wire that sends 1 or 2 jolts of 12 volt to lights, horn, ect. I am just happy to get the kit to work! Great signal strength over 150 feet and nice feeling remotes.

Work as it should, but need some knowledge to set it up
Great price for two fobs and receiver. Problem is with instructions, there are just basics. There is a new feature, but not mentioned in instructions: fobs are now already paired with receiver, no need to use learning button (actually, there is no such button on new receiver).I was surprised that fobs are not cheap-looking as expected, actually, they look pretty cool and seem to be of higher quality. So, basically everything worked out of box. Brown wire is giving you +12V, two impulses for unlock and one for lock. You can connect it to your turn signal lights, or to some piezo electronic buzzer (just don't use cars' horn - it's annoying)For other wires, you have to use multimeter to find what you need. For me, I discarded orange wires, connected white and white/black wires to ground, and used yellow and yellow/black for power door lock's lock/unlock function. I used PDL wires going to driver's door lock/unlock switch (2003 Civic). It worked form the first try.
