Works - as long as there's direct sunlight!
Got the two-pack with connection kit, and to be honest, it was quite a job to get it installed - probably spent 4 hours cutting, assembling, running to the hardware store for extra hoses and pipes for my setup, and installing on the roof. I wouldn't consider the setup to be perfect, but it does do what it's supposed to do - as long as there's DIRECT SUN on it. I know this seems obvious, but I had kind of hoped that there would be SOME benefit to running it even if there was some cloud coverage, but there IS NOT.On a nice sunny day, it probably raises the temperature of my 16' round 48" deep pool (about 4200 gallons) about 6 degrees over the course of 6 hours (from about 10:30am to 4:30pm). The Intex pool I use loses almost that much over the course of a 60 degree night, so I'm usually running the heater every day to maintain the temperature I want (we like 86-88 degrees if we have the choice). I live in a very temperate climate (usually high 50's/low 60s at night and mid 70's during the day) so your results may vary. I have had a couple instances of a few warm days in a row, and it definitely can get the pool pretty warm. I've turned the heater off when its gotten to 90 degrees a couple times. Anyway, I'm glad we purchased the system , and it definitely works a lot faster than the solar cover/heater we keep on the pool when its not in use (but I suspect using both is a good way to go!).Also you DON'T want to run this after sunset, or before sunrise, as it also make a great pool cooler. If the pool water is warmer than the ambient temperature and there isn't sun to warm the panels, you will feel colder water coming out of the return line.

Getting setup is the hurdle...
We bought 2x 2'x12' panels with the roof & diverter kits. Last year's pool was just a round 15'x48" above ground pool (~3.7K gallons). I built a stand out of plywood & 2x4s to mount the solar panels. I did have some problems with leakage at the fittings even with several wraps of the included teflon tape. I ended up removing the teflon tape and using thread sealant to eliminate those leaks.Getting everything setup was the chore. It took several trips to the hardware stores to find the right fittings & hose(s) to tie the solar heater into the pool's filtration system. Like others have commented, the system would raise the pool temperature a couple of degrees during the clear summer days, and it would drop a couple of degrees overnight or several degrees on rainy/hazy days. I just had to be mindful of turning on the pump once the panels were in the sun and shutting it back down in the late afternoon when they got shaded. The pool was pretty consistently in the mid-80° F range.Let me add some context, this was not just the summer of COVID, it was also weird in that we had a larger than normal number of cloudy days and a lot of hazy days due to wildfires that were raging all over the western states. If we weren't being inundated by smoke from the Colorado wildfires, we were getting it from neighboring states. I think that this played a huge part in our pool temperatures not being as high as they could have potentially been. We did have a week or so in mid-August where the prevailing winds pushed out all of the smoke & clouds, and the pool crept up into the mid-90° F range. And I think that speaks volumes to the potential of this type of system.I just finished setting up the new pool--18'x48" above ground (~5.5K gallons). It took two partial days (Wed. & Thur.) of filling, and then on day 3 (Fri.) we started with a water temperature of 70° F. Instead of splicing into the pool filter plumbing, I opted to divert water to the solar heater with a submersible pump (rated at 1,750gph). Aside from having 1-1/4" hoses draped over the side of the pool, this was by far the easier way of feeding the solar heater.By Saturday afternoon (first day of using heater), the water temperature was up to 76° F. By Sunday afternoon, the water temperature was up to 81° F. This is after just two clear, sunny 90°+ F days. Despite the relatively high flow rate through the heater, it is still raising water temperature 1 - 2° F over the pool temperature.Another side note...be careful where you route your water lines. I had ours run along the side of the yard under some bushes...behind some lawn edging in a mulch bed under the bushes. I believe that our lawn care guy kicked up some dirt while string trimming along that edge of the lawn. It actually peppered one of the hoses with little 1/16" - 1/8" holes which forced me to buy a new 25' chunk of hose/tubing.So, in closing, the heater works. And it works at a fraction of the cost to add a propane/natural gas or electric pool heater. The first downside is that you will have to figure out how best to get water through the heater and back to your pool and deal with the routing the additional water lines. The second downside is that you are obviously at the mercy of Mother Nature...for both sunny days & smoke from wildfires.

Almost as described
All connections were there. Inlet & outlet connections to small didn't hook to standard pool hose. Bought next size up at hardware store. We hung on the side of deck. Cut the large rubber connector in half so you can connect the 2 panels together on both sides. You'll need to buy 2 more large clamps. We made straps from seatbelts in order to hang it on the side of deck. It would've been 5 stars for install and value if I didn't have to go buy stuff because it didn't come with correct size connections or extra clamps.

They work really well.
I have a 500 square foot, 15,000 gallon pool. I installed 11 of these panels on the east/west facing roof in Indiana. I have 5 facing east and 6 facing west. When it's sunny the water coming out of the jets is significantly hotter than the average pool temperature. When we opened the pool in early May and first started using the panels the pool water was a cold 56°. One week later the water was 87°. Since then it's being maintained above 85° except for a few cool overcast and rainy days with highs in the high 60s where the pool temp dropped to the high 70s, but these were not days you would normally swim either. With a daily high in the low 80s in the last few days the pool temperature has been over 90 by the end of the day. Installation wasn't so bad. I have a standing seam metal roof so had to figure out how to install it on that.

Working well
Seems to be doing a pretty good job.

Review
They are working fine, the interior threads didn't seal well even using the tape, see how they hold up over the Az summer

Increases the amount of swim days
It has done exactly what I wanted for a 21 foot pool. The return water is probably 5-10 degrees warmer when the sun is out. We have actually had to run our filter in off hours because our pool was getting over 90. The product itself seems cheap but so far so good.

Awesome
I actually bought this not expecting a lot because I seen mixed reviews I live in Canada and it’s May right now I’ve been using the heater for about a two weeks and as long as the sun is out the heater works great!!! Without this heater the pool was around 16° with the heater The pool sits at 22° I also do have an insulated cover that I put on every night that really helps the pool keep its heat . My pool is 12x30 for reference.

Easy to install.
Had to buy a few couplers to mate with my intex pool filter but well worth it. Make sure to buy the diverter kit. Costs more to buy all the pieces individually. Makes the system way more efficient. Putting the solar blanket on at night and during those cooler rainy days helps as well.

Easy to install
Arrived within days of ordering. Easy to install. Only complaint was that there weren't enough clamps once you split the tubing to join together the two panels. Appears very sturdy. Using these along with solar blanket. Now that I see how sturdy these panels are will order another set. Manufacturer recommends taking them down in the winter, will follow these instructions.
