We used the Ball Chains for hanging a wooden plaque. To honor Veterans Day, a plaque was made for every Veteran that resides in a Vet Home here in SW MN. We took the branch of service the Vet was in, painted the plaque, examples, Olive green for Army, Red for Marines, Azure blue for Air Force and Navy blue of course would be the Navy. We applied an emblem coinciding with their branch of service in gold. Our idea was to recognize their service and to resemble a little bit of their "dog tags"

The ball chain spindle is indeed stainless steel, However the links (the connector pieces) are not. So your jewelry or necklace will be great until you notice the link corroding on your skin, especially to anyone sensitive to the cheap metal in them (you will get a purple/green ish spot on your skin). I didn't think to ask if the links were stainless and that's my fault. Overall I'm very happy with the chain spool. 1 star for the weakest links. Dear seller if you could send some stainless steel links my way, I'd gladly change my review.

The chain arrived in time but there are no connectors with the package. Reeled out all the chain and no connectors were included with it.

Product's connectors are 100 percent stainless steel but the ball chain received has magnetism, a magnetic characteristic not present in a 100 percent stainless steel ball chains, at least from those previously compared and tested from other vendors.
