With that kind of dedication and responsive service - I am figuring either I or amazon made a mistake and will leave it at that. Great CS :-)Ok tape it's self seems top notch and I love the polybag! I will try to remember to update how the tape held up over the weekend and if it does like I think it will bump it up to five stars.

Fulfillment and shipping were excellent, as I expect from Amazon. What I didn't expect was a personal note or a zip-loc bag, which is a great idea for keeping the tape clean while in my gig bag.We perform with two mics, two DI cables and various cables to speakers and mixers. This tape is so much better than what I was using: tears easily, has more heft and goes down faster, holds cables better, and it even looks more professional. It is easier to remove both from the floor (doesn't remove finish) and doesn't leave cables gummy when you take it off. All in all, it is simply a better experience to set up and tear down from a gig.If you are a performer, do yourself and your performance space a favor and get a roll!

I tried this tape as a cheaper alternative to the Hosa brand gaffers tape I usually buy. Well there's a reason this is cheaper. It's adequate as an upgrade from using masking tape, but does not have the usability a quality gaffer's tape like the Hosa has. This is particularly noticeable in the lack of any rigidity in the backing fabric. A simple comparison of the two tapes can be made by ripping an approximate 3 inch strip off of both, then hold them parallel to the ground in each hand. The Hosa will barely bend, but this tape will fold over on itself causing the adhesive backing to adhere to itself and render the strip almost unusable. I'll be going back to the Hosa next time.

I was extremely disappointed in this gaffing tape, when I went to use it. My previous tape was very easy to tear, with just fingers, into the exact size I wanted, and it had just enough stickiness to stay put, yet come off with ease. This is more like black duct tape. It's difficult to tear and it's extremely sticky, which gaffing tape should not be.

Don't try to actually use this as tape, as it doesn't have enough adhesive to hold much of anything (was trying to tape a cord to the wall). Doesn't leave any residue, though.

I use Peerless Essentials's gaffers tape on the soles my shoes to help with spins when dancing on a horrible floor. After hours of dancing the tape holds up, never frails or lifts. I can leave the tape on for the next time I go out dancing or take it off. And, when I remove the tape there is no sticky residue.

An essential item for every photographers phirst aid kit. Great quality tape, strong, many uses and all without leaving any trace of adhesive residue.
