I'm 5'5" and weigh about 170 and I squeezed into the XL. I laid down to get it hooked/buttoned up on the last row of hooks, a tight fit. In my opinion.. it should fit you snug so that it can flatten/smooth out the tummy a bit. It still has 2 other rows of hooks to tighten it up & make it smaller in the future when I do improve. I like that it is long also. My normal clothing size is medium/large with my tops and bottoms but I went a size up and got this in a XL and it was very snug but in a way that I like & prefer..

im 5'2 at 185lbs. with a 42 in waist. i ordered an Xlarge.the first time out of the pack i was like dang its too small. i had to lay on the bed and suck it in, and finally got it on it was nice and snug, sucked everything in and was surprisingly comfortable. wore it for about 5 hours never rode up or bunched up, i even forgot i had it on. and i love that you can adjust the shoulder straps.. second time putting it on i didnt have to lay on the bed so it stretched a little bit but the fit feels the same as the first time i wore it. its perfect for the price. good material, no complaints so far!

I ordered a 2XL, which is what I wear in tee-shirts, and which was, as the comments suggested, a size smaller than I kind of thought I should get, given the nature of the product, and I probably should have gone with my gut. I am a very curvy, pear-shaped woman, and the first experience of trying to hook all those hooks closed was something of a self-esteem nightmare. Once it was on properly, I needed to pull it (read: inch it) down some more than where it looks like you wear it in the photos.It does provide me good back support - especially when paired with the pillow I was using previously that hadn't been nearly enough. The neoprene is warm, and I do advocate wearing a thin cami or tank top underneath it, but it's not suffocatingly warm. At least not for me at ~70 degrees F.Everything's sewn together well, though the hook on the very top edge of the zipper flaps could stand to be better secured. I've worn it for two days, a few hours at a time, and as you get used to it, it does work nicely. Do NOT expect all your lumps and bumps to be totally gone, plus-sized ladies. The seams will wrinkle a bit where they're stretched really tight, and the way you sit will form pressure points - for me it's a fold that happens directly under my breasts, pressing into my sternum, but it's not harsh, it's just something to keep an eye on. Don't forget to drink water, especially the first day. If you feel woozy, don't hesitate to take it off. It's going to take time to get used to it.Well packaged, promptly delivered, nice price. I ordered this product months ago. I was completely outraged with the shipping process because I ordered one and three days later Amazon tells me it was lost in transit. I needed to know when and what day it got to my post office. (My family will snoop through packages if they get to the post office box before me. I didn’t want to give them the wrong idea of me ordering this, I only got this for my back pain while I went to work) So, Amazon tells me the lost my package and ask if I want a replacement. What they didn’t tell me is that I would be charged AGAIN for the replacement. The other items I ordered with this arrived when they said it would I’m not too sure why this happened but I was very disappointed. And yes I know, I’ve been told before “it’s just X amount of money, get over it” but I’ve been really tight with money, if I had the money to forget about this stupid order, I wouldn’t have a job that makes my back suffer.When the “replacement”, or my second order apparently, came, this product smelled like a factory. My mom found out about this (I explained it was just for my back) only because of the factory smell. I threw it away after I put it on and took pictures because this was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever put on my body. I was told before “no that’s how it’s supposed to be” I showed them the picture of me in it and they agreed I looked frumpy because of the fabric it’s made from. I have variety of material of clothing and everything I put on just honestly made me feel disgusting. Since I couldn’t use it for work I figured that it would be fine with anything but it wasn’t fine, this made my body shape weird. This thing was not worth my back-suffering work. Sorry I finally remembered to review this.TL;DR Amazon lost my package, provided a replacement and charged me again. Did not look flattering on me. I intended on using this for work. As soon as you open the package, your room will literally smell like a factory…open outside.

I gave it 3 stars because it is actually quite comfortable. It runs a little large than expected. It was recommended that I buy size XL, it fits fine but I’m on the last notch to begin with and it’s barely compressing anything. I would have given it more stars just for the comfort, but the smell is so strong even after washing more than once that when I hang dry it in my room I get a bad headache. I do not recommend this product for large breasted petite women because hello UNIBOOB! Not only does the UNIBOOB make it impossible to wear anywhere but in your own home alone, but it fits oddly creating back rolls that I don’t have without the waist cincher I don’t know if it just pulling skin from the front side of my torso to the back or what. I bought this to shape and tighten my belly since it’s just uneven from 2 pregnancies. I would return it since I bought 2 but I already washed them both several times to try to get the smell to go away.

I bought this for chronic back pain support and yeah - it's great! I bought the one with the straps. It's comfortable to wear, doesn't pinch, or roll, or slip. The straps make it seem more supportive - I don't slouch while wearing it. It has 3 rows of closures to make it tighter or looser as you need, and the zipper front has a lock loop so the zipper stays zipped.Beside the back support - it's holds everything in and gives me an actual waist!!!!I wear medium clothes and I bought the XL that fits US 8 -10, and it fits great.
