I purchased these boots prior to a Hawaii vacation, since we were planning on hiking. My girlfriend was worried that my feet would get sweaty and overheated, but surprisingly, they just stayed very warm. I have yet to wear them during wintertime, but I’m sure they’ll be just as toasty. Yes, they’re actually waterproof. As long as water doesn’t get up past the laces, there’s not a single chance of leakage. The traction was great, overall super sturdy boots. You could drop a 10lb weight on your toe and not feel a thing. Makes them great work boots in my opinion.

My husband put it on and said it is very comfortable and gave him stability in his ankle. He said it helps his arch so he doesn't have as much pain. He said it is light weight which he needed. It looks to be of good quality. My husband only has the use of his left foot and the arch has fallen. He is in a wheelchair and uses that foot to propel himself some times and if necessary uses it to stop himself. He hops sometimes so the light weight is great. He is very happy with the boot. It is well worth the money. He would recommend this boot.

The first 2 months of wearing these boots were uncomfortable but atleast my feet were not getting wet. After the 3rd month the boots started taking on water when standing in a puddle or just walking on wet pavement. I will not be buying another pair of these boots or any other kind from this company.

I'm giving it 3 stars as my feet always hurt. Definitely water proof. Oddly enough the biggest flaw that I found torturous for my feet is the flexible sole combined with the boot style heel. Usually and I am assuming for good reason hiking and work related boots have stiff soles. The tennis shoes flexibility combined with a stair stepped boot sole is awkward and downright painful. I was at my wits end working overtime. They don't initially hurt but after several hours you find your whole legs aching awfully. If you walk down a slope it's just weird how the heel will feel like it's come loose and trying punch through the center of the sole. Basically you have to have a flat surface for a flexible sole or a rigid one if you have a boot heel.

Helps me with my daily security duties. Tip pull them tight on the strings before wrapping them around the loop on top , it nearly cut my shoelaces off. But fixed the boots always feeling loose.
