I have an issue with scented items. To find something that has a slight scent that doesn't cause me to have a headache is rare. This block of soap is incredible for my beard, it lasts me up to 6 months for one block, and it definitely softens the beard up a bit as well. I have been using it for years, and will continue to do so.Incredible product and highly suggest it to beard lovers everywhere.

(Skip down for answer)This company give you a monster size cube of beard soap if you take into account how long it lasts...I started using the cube on August 2nd, (after taking a picture)...It is now December 8th, (over 4 months later !!!) and I still have about a month left to squeeze out of that little cube that I just took a picture of...I use it daily for the most part, but I may skip a day here and there...The scent is unbelievable, but damned if I can describe it...It doesn't smell like a balm or beard oil though, since it's not meant to last all day...I have a full beard, and it's on the longer side, but not long...I take this cube and dig into my face with it...It has a bit of a gritty feel, so I imagine it's roughing up any beardruff...After I lather it up with my fingertips, I just bask in the strange but good sensation it gives my face while it's working...Ingredients: Mount Wellington spring water, olive, coconut castor oils, soy wax, Leatherwood beeswax, Tasmanian Seaweed extract, Leatherwood honey, cocoa powder, essential oils...Not being a native to Australia, I have no idea what Mount Wellington spring water is, but I imagine it's a positive, not a negative...Same with Tasmanian Seaweed, but I'm sure that means something in Australia also...Whatever it's made out of it seriously cleans my beard like nothing else I've tried...Touching your wet beard, it's obvious the built up grease is gone...The most profound way to tell that it's clean lies in the answer right here...ANSWER: They squeak !!! I kid you not when I say my beard squeaks after cleaning with this soap...One day when I first had it and was marveling at how clean it was, I dragged my hand down the side of my face and there was an audible squeak...Now I use the squeak to make sure I've cleaned my beard thoroughly...And one last thing, it leaves your beard extremely soft...Just how you'd want it to be when applying an oil or balm...This soap is extraordinary, and well worth the price...I HIGHLY reccomend this product...Good luck !!!

I will definitely be purchasing again in the future I will try other scents to see how they are but this bar last a good long while I have a moderate beard and use it daily and have not seen it reduce in size so it is very long lasting.

Other than its awkward cube shape, it does pretty much what they say. It has a great mild scent, lathers well and definitely moisturizes. I haven't noticed any exceptional softness, but that may just be my whiskers.

I've used it 3 times since purchasing and my beardruff has almost completely disappeared. It smells great and lathers really nice. It doesn't dry my beard/hair out. I really recommend this shampoo.

I have a scraggly beard, hairs go everywhere, beard oils and pastes barely help. Then I discovered Fuzzworthy. It is a soap, so it cleans my beard too. It doesnt eliminate all the curls in my beard hair, but then nothing does, and it leaves the hair a bit softer than it was, a bit straighter, and easier to comb. It feels strong when it goes on, but definitely leaves the hair nice. Fuzzworthy also has a conditioning paste that I often apply after the detergent, and that combo leaves my beard as straight and manageable as any oil or paste. I use the unscented one (which I guess is the original), which really is unscented. It lathers up real good. Warning - it is not "gentle on the eyes". Dont get it in your eyes. I like it so much that it is also my go-to shampoo for my head hair, although I prefer to alternate different kinds of shampoo. Lasts a long time. Fuzzworthy has a "magnetic holder" for its soap, which is pretty handy since otherwise I have to leave the soap in a small plastic bowl lined with aluminum foil, since it wears down to a little, sticky glob of soap as it is used up.

I have been using professor fuzzworthy beard shampoo for over 4 years now and stand by this product wholeheartedly. My beard stays Pretty long, I usually go 6-9 months at a time without trimming.Whether you’re beard is long or short, this shampoo bar produces a lot of suds. So you don’t need many swipes.It has a very natural fresh scent. Almost a woodsy smell without being overly woodsy.It leaves my beard nice and soft without any additional moisturizer or chemicals, which is what I like most. And gives my skin underneath my beard a fresh feeling as well.It is pricey compared to other products on the over-saturated beard care market, but please remember what you are paying for. Do your research and understand what you are putting on your face/hair.Well worth the money!The only downsides I would say are storage of the bar after use. I used a bamboo soap dish for a long time and it did well but the most convenient storage option is the magnetic soap holder professor fuzzwothy just came out with. Definitely pick one of those up when you buy this soap. This helps your bar last longer than any soap dish will.Traveling with the bar is not the easiest or most convenient. I usually don’t travel with it as a result and will use whatever shampoo hotels provide.The absolute worst part about this soap is if you are using it in a public shower (ie; at the gym or at camp) and you drop the soap lol. It’s unsettling to think about using the bar again after it touching the floor.Otherwise hands down best shampoo on the market. I recommend this to all my friends who decide to start growing a beard.

The best beard wash/shampoo I've tried yet, and I've tried a few. As someone else commented, it cleans your beard so well that you can hear a squeak as your fingers pass over your clean beard. I can even see traces of the previous day's beard treatments around the plughole of the sink when I pull the plug! I pass the bar once down the beard on my two cheeks (one direction only) and then massage with my fingers to produce loads of great smelling suds. It leaves my beard feeling clean and soft with a nice amount of volume. No dryness. As others have said, it may seem a little pricey, but I'm sure it is going to last ages, so it will prove very economical in the long run.

Ottimo prodotto. Ne basta veramente poco che si spalma su tutta la barba in maniera omogenea, facendo tanta schiuma. Questo dovrebbe essere un balsamo, che mischiato insieme allo shampoo della stessa marca rotondo da una sensazione di completa pulizia e la barba resta morbida e facilmente pettinabile e modellabile. In merito all'odore non è male, anche se preferisco l'odore dello shampoo (la saponetta tonda).

Love that this is a bar, very nice to have. The scent is fine but I definitely feel clean afterwards. Will probably keep buying this in the future.
