God, what a mess we have become because of it. Mr. Loftus explains how it happened. You know going into it the rationale behind it, and you wonder how you would have reacted. But you hope you would have put the country's well being first, not to mention the souls lost in the fight against the Nazis. Was no one thinking what the result would be? Are you listening, Tea Party?

Very enlightening and well written. I had heard various things abut this subject but was not aware of how widespread this whole affair was.I now know why there were such a small number of Nazis tried at the Nuremberg trials.

This is really good. The CIA brought Nazis into the US after WW2, gave them new identities, paid them, put them to work in top secret facilities including germ warfare development programs. Who, when, and where, it tells the story.

Fascinating and chilling account of how our government agencies operate without restraint and oversight. This is an indictment of the continuation of the robber baron class destroying our republic. We continue to allow ourselves to be led by our own ignorance. Disgraceful.

I read this book in it's original form several years ago. When I saw this updated, un-censored version I had to read it again. Worth every penny. Very few Americans are aware of the fact that we brought hundreds, if not thousands of former Nazi's into this country. And we helped hundreds more evade the Nuremberg trials after WWII. Loftus not only tells how and why it happened, but names the the people and branches of government responsible. He also goes into detail about some of the groups and organizations that we claim to be fighting today. How and when they started and how alot of them are employed by one or more branches of our government. This book offers a great lesson in the darker side of American history.

I was intrigued by the book start to finish. I had never heard this before but I have to say I wasn't surprised. We need more authors to reveal such secrets so the American people can be informed. I would like this to be a documentary where many more Americans who have given up on reading will become aware of the dirty secrets our government is hiding from them. Again an excellent read.

The U.S. State Department sent boat loads of Jewish refugees away during WWII. The "Jewish problem" was not an American problem. After WWII U.S. "Intelligence" agencies recurited Nazi war criminals, provided them citizenship and jobs. Lest we fail to grasp what a Nasi war criminal is; the American citizen, Stankievich, was responsible for the deaths of over 8,000 Jews, in one day. They were forced into trenches filled with their dead and shot, to form mass graves. Infants were buried alive to save bullets, and women were raped before being shot. Now these Nazi's have been provided jobs with Radio Liberty so they can spread their propoganda. John Loftus was hired by the Office of Special Investigations (OSI), ordered by President Carter, to investigate allegations that there are Nazi war criminals in America. President Truman was lied to. What I want to know is why this fact is not being taught in public education. How can American's participate in the governance of a country that claims to provide governance to the people, when these atrociies are hidden, even from the Executive Branch and Congress! Read this book and pass it on.

John Loftus is one brave man. I was shocked by my own governments use of previous nazi's in the cold war against the Soviet Union. As difficult as it was to read, I am grateful that this author had the courage to get this book written and published for all the world to see. We don't want to repeat the past, that's for sure

As almost yearly, new revelations surface about now-geriatric, minor players in the Nazi killing machine in Eastern Europe, this book details how rogue elements within the Justice Department of the US conspired to ship in the entire leadership of the Nazi collaborators and to protect them from discovery or prosecution. This book is an appalling indictment of the way in which a handful of criminals within the highest echelons of the US establishment played on chronic inefficiency within the intelligence community to repeatedly lie to the US president and to Congress in order to further their personal agendas, namely protecting the financial investments of their clients.I would also add my voice to what a previous reviewer has already noted that the title of this book on this site has been altered, and the words (Conspiracy Theories) added. This book is a heavily reasearched and referenced research work, the research to which was funded by the US Justice Department, where the author worked as a prosecutor. It behoves Amazon to redress this error.

An eye-opener ! If you want to understand what is happening in the USA you need to understand its history ( who was it who wrote " those who do not understand history are condemned to repeat it" ? ) Loftus writes well and he is not what anyone would call " a conspiracy nut" ... He's a serious investigative reporter who brings a lot of previously - concealed stuff into the light. A good read and VERY informative.

This book provides a damning condemnation of US intelligence services and the corrupt networks within networks that have and continue to destroy all chances of true freedom in America.

Die Hintergründe für diese nahezu unbekannten Aktivitäten werden aufgedeckt und erläutert. Es ist eine erschütternde Chronologie der Ereignisse nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg bis hinein in die achtziger Jahre dargestellt durch einen Insider des US Department of Justice. Schockierend und gleichzeitig faszinierend wird aufgezeigt wie die Einwanderungsbehörde von einer Unterorganisation des CIA systematisch getäuscht und hintergangen wird um den eigenen, zweifelhaften Zielen zu dienen. Ein Buch für alle, die daran interessiert sind, herauszufinden wie weit zurück die Anfänge der heutigen katastrophalen Situation liegen.

Ein äußerst spannendes, interessantes und gut recherchiertes Buch, das viele (für mich) unbekannte Hintergründe und Querverbindungen aufzeigt. Allerdings sollte es nicht in der Kategorie "Conspiracy" eingeordnet sein, sondern, so wie am Buch vermerkt, unter der Kategorie "History"!
