Good product, good value
We got this product for the fan on our back patio we spend a lot of time out there and Texas summers can be brutally hot. It was easy to put together and set up, the parts seem well made and it makes it easy to adjust the number of misters, originally we had 4 misters hooked up on the loop and it was just too much moisture but as you can see in the picture, we just use one mister, its the perfect amount of water and air mix, the patio is noticeably cooler and not just directly in front of the fan. So far no leaks from any of the parts, tubing or where it connects to the hose. Helps to have a fan that can really move some air, but over all it does exactly what it says and works great.

Works great but has a couple of flaws
Bought this for an outdoor, daytime party which was expected to be (and was!) in the low 90s. This mister was a very popular gathering location! It came mostly assembled and the remaining assembly was intentionally left undone since they have a purging process as part of the install to ensure the nozzles aren't immediately clogged. I followed their instructions and had no problems. The couplings are press-fit (like a Sharkbite fitting) and a couple of them leaked like crazy-- the easy fix was to push the hose further into the fitting.I'm not giving it five stars as there are a couple of key improvements they need to make. First, with the exception of the nozzles, everything is plastic, including the fitting which connects to to the garden hose. I suspect it's cheap ABS, typically used in these irrigation-type products. Unless you plan to keep it permanently connected, that part is going to fail pretty quickly. That connection also leaked a lot-- probably releasing more water than the mist nozzles were. I was able to stop most of it with some teflon tape (commonly used in plumbing). Second, there is no valve on the system, so if you want to adjust the flow rate or temporarily turn off the water, you have to go to the hose bib to do it.I will probably add an in-line cutoff between the garden hose and this product to address both of those problems. A high-quality, metal cutoff will make repeated coupling/decoupling more reliable and since the connection to the product's hose connector will be "permanent" I can use extra teflon tape and really torque it down, much more than I would be willing to risk if I was planning to disconnect it again.

Life Saver
Easy to attach, works great. I have a permanent site for my 5th wheel in Lake of the Ozarks and its so humid. This a life saver. HUGE PLUS... it has a light weight hose that attaches to the fan(sprayers) and then attaches to your hose.... WELL that light weight hose is also like 4’ long maybe longer so as you can see in my second photo, it attaches to the sprayer on my fan and then runs behind my stairs where it attaches to the main hose. This was a big deal to me because I like to have neat wires and hoses.

Works Ok, mist is not fine as it could be and water hose connection leaks. Comparison of Misty Mist vs Misty Mate
Bought a Misty Mate and this Misty Mist. Here is a comparison:Both Misters:Offer a nice Mist but not superfine. I had my faucet completely open, had it installed on a 16" oscillating Hurricane fan and there was mist out to about 15 feet and cools out to 20 feet. 10-20 feet is ideal place to be. It drops the temperature maybe 10 degrees. At 5 feet you will get wet. Farther than 15 feet there is no effect.Misty Mist (This one)Takes more time to assemble but pretty easyIt leaks from the hose connection. Could not get it to stop leaking even with a wrench!Has zip ties which are hard to thread in an out of the fan grille but they workMisty MateNo assembly required (nozzles already installed on the ring)Comes with a quick release fitting with an on/off valve and a coarse filter which does not leak.Pressure clips to easily clip on/off the fan grill are garbage! They did not fit into my fine grill on my Hurricane fan and they were too big for my Lasco fan. Each box is supposed to include two hose clamps to neatly run your hose down your fans pole. I bought two Misty Mates and one box had one of these clamps and the second box did not have any!Misty MistRated 2 stars and will be returned to AMAZON for a refundMisty MateRated 3 stars. I will keep and will buy some finer misters .006mm and use zip ties instead of those horrible clips.

Easy install, works like a champ, but hose attachment leaks
I had no problems installing this on my wire-cage shop fan using the supplied zip lines. The hose is long enough that even if you had it mounted up on a wall or ceiling, it would be fine. The only problem I have is that no matter what, the connection to the water hose leaks like crazy, making a bit of a mess on the ground. I've tried several water hoses (none of which leak with anything else attached), and I even tried swapping out the *really thick* rubber gasket that was included for a thinner one, but it still leaks. Frustrating, but I just leave that part in the lawn when I'm using it for now, just wish it didn't leak so much. I may just wind up replacing the water hose connector, but shouldn't have to.

Easy ootion for cooling
Used this on a fan we purchased for our heifer. This made a huge dufference in the temperature. We get 100+ degree days here and it dropped the temps to a more comfortable level. It attaches to a water hose (we added a battery operated timer so it wouldnt run all night. Some said it leaks at the hose connection. There is an included washer that you HAVE to use to avoid leaks. I would suggest a calcium water filter available on amazon if you have hard water. This will keep the nozzles from getting plugged with minerals and continue spraying good.
