The Puffin Keeper

This was wonderful to read to my 7 year old daughter, and 4 year old son. Finding something to appeal to both of them is hard enough, but I even enjoyed this myself, which is quite something!The illustrations are beautiful and enhanced the engagement with the story, particularly for my 4 year old.We all would have been happy for the story to be longer.I wish there were more books like this out there.

I bought this book as a Christmas present for my 89 year old Mum who loves Michael Morpurgo’s books. She enjoyed it and passed it on to me. I read it to my 5 year old grandson who was transfixed by the story. It is truly a book for all ages. A charming and beautifully illustrated story.

Bought this for myself, and really enjoyed it. Lovely story, and perfectly illustrated. I won't spoilt the story for anyone. I have several of MP's stories, and enjoy them all. The background on this one was an interesting surprise, and made it more precious to me, because I enjoy reading so much.

Michael Morpurgo never disappoints. I read this book to my son, and he thoroughly enjoyed the book. It moves quickly and talks about how the author befriended an eccentric that led him into writing.

The media could not be loaded. When I read this book, i felt that I am inside this story as a speaker. My kid liked this story.

I read this to my 5 year old over the course of about 3 or 4 nights and we really enjoyed it.. its such a lovely story, my daughter loved it when they had to nurse the little puffin back to health. Would definitely recommend !
