Perfekt.

Great product
I actually bought one for my dad. I got him the auto glym shine kit. And this came with it. Annoyingly I could find the kit when I bought this. But that kit comes with product, microfibre and this drying cloth for £25. Where as this was £15 on its own. So definitely worth looking for that kit first. Overall it’s a really brilliant drying towel. Wet and ring out then it’s good to go

Awesome new tool in my detailing arsenal!
Being a detail enthusiast/prosumer I was thrilled to just now be learning of the Autoglym brand! They are a UK brand so shipping takes longer than my usual products I buy through amazon. I decided to try out the ID10 Instadry drying towel and was not disappointed. After using microfiber drying towels for so long I got used to having to “prime” them with water before they would start absorbing. It seems counterintuitive but the microfiber towels actually need to be damp before they start wicking water off the vehicle. The ID10 Instadry is a little more difficult to handle initially because when it is dry it is very stiff but once it becomes slightly damp it is much easier to work with and you don’t need near as much of this material to absorb the same amount of water you would get with a big microfiber towel! As an OCD detailer, one of the things I try to prevent marring the paint of the vehicle I am working on while drying. Autoglym suggests to avoid washing the ID10 unless needed, I was initially worried the ID10 would retain contaminants and substrate that would scratch my paint but this material can be rinsed off and it does not seem to hold dirt like a microfiber towel does. Gone are the days of washing my drying towel after every use!My only complaint about this product is that it is fragile. Just by shaking it out to make sure there was no dirt on it after rinsing off the edges of the towel started fraying after a few shakes. I wring the towel out to dry it and did not have any issues. I will not be shaking this towel out any more and I really hope it does not start falling apart further. I will report back if I have issues.
