Friends Lunch on Skyscraper over New York 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

I love Friends, and I love making puzzles, so my hubby thought this would be a great idea for my birthday. When I saw the box, all I could think was oh my word! It's all in Grayscale! We took it on as a challenge during Thanksgiving weekend, and I'm glad we had those extra days as it took 3 of us 3 days to work on it and finish it. As others have mentioned, the picture on the box was very small and showed puzzle pieces making it very difficult to see detail, and, they were not the exact shaped pieces for each piece. Others have mentioned that all of the pieces were the exact same shape (standard puzzle piece), but for ours, they were all very wacky shaped pieces, making it even more difficult as you thought you needed just one strange looking piece in a particular spot, but it was actually two! The pieces were pretty small compared to a standard size piece, and they also did not stay together very well and kept coming apart as you worked on the puzzle. We were planning on gluing it to hang on the wall once finished, but unfortunately, there was a piece missing. Pretty sure we didn't lose one as were are always extremely careful with puzzle pieces. Disappointed, but we did finish it. Probably will never try to make again, especially with a piece missing. I have attached picture to show the actual puzzle pieces shapes, as well as the unfortunately placed missing puzzle piece.

You know you miss this lovable gang of misfit friends just trying to find love in a big city. The ten seasons sure weren't enough, and now that Hollywood has teased us with a reunion movie, only to shoot the idea down and crush our hearts, you must be itching for some good friends action...well here ya go. Now you can spend almost as much time as you would watching ten years worth of comedy on Netflix with this 1000 piece puzzle. You'll remember the laughs, the ups and downs, you'll wonder why Joey and Rachel become a thing, then you'll remember there was a monkey for awhile. Then you'll think about Planet of the Apes, and wonder if they have a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle, then the studio audience will laugh and you'll remember that in your excitement you dumped the entire puzzle out onto the table and your family hasn't eaten for a few days so you really need to stop reminiscing and finish this damn puzzle. It's a good puzzle.

I love Friends, so I thought this puzzle would be perfect. I initially wanted to do the puzzle and frame it. Unfortunately, there were some flaws. One, and this is my fault: it's in black and white! It's virtually impossible to finish once you complete the outline, characters and Friends logo. Two, the cover of the box is covered up by a puzzle version of the photo making it difficult to see details. And three, the actual quality of the pieces is not ideal. The edges get bent easily and begin to peel. I ended up just throwing the puzzle away unfortunately.

If you are really into jigsaw puzzles, this is the right for you! This puzzle is so difficult, not only because everything is black, white or grey, but because you don't have the clear picture of it, you only have a small picture of it with the jigsaw marks on it, and you'll miss all the details. I'm having so much fun with it, although some times I feel I'm in a Friends nightmare hehehehehe.

EVERY PIECE BESIDES THE EDGE PIECES ARE THE SAME SHAPE SO IT ADDS AN EXTRA CHALLENGE TO THE SKY PORTION OF THE PICTURE. THE PIECES ARE GOOD QUALITY. SOME PUZZLES TURN INTO A MESS IF YOU SO MUCH AS BUMP THE TABLE. THE PIECES ARE THICK ENOUGH THAT THEY HOLD TOGETHER WELL IF YOU NEED TO MOVE IT BEFORE ITS COMPLETED.

I love Friends, and I love this picture, but it wasn't a good choice to make a puzzle out of. Since it is black and white, all the pieces look alike and it is very challenging. If you love a challenge, this is for you! But I couldn't get more than the outline done.

I love puzzles, I've done hundreds but this one was especially challenging because of the monotone hues! I loved it!! And who doesn't love friends??My only complaint is the picture in the picture made it very difficult to see which piece needed to go where since it was puzzle pieces on the picture.

Great puzzle--but I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew--1000 pieces and all of them are black & white!! It may take me a while to finish this one. Also, I was not aware how LARGE this puzzle is--20x27"---quite large!!
