BOSCH Self-Leveling Rotary Laser with Laser Receiver GRL 400 H, Blue (GRL400H)

The Bosch GRL400H worked flawlessly as expected and sets up easily and quick. The batteries can be taken in and out quickly for storage and the storage case has extra padded slots for some other accessories like the wall stand, extra batteries, remote and manual. When you pick it up it feels and looks solidly built, it has rubber handles and glass windows so dust and moisture dose not effect the laser. It has a vibration sensor to determine if it needs you to relevel it. My dog had bumped it and it stopped and started flashing a warning light so I knew it was out of level. The reciver work nicely with the audible beebs and it has a display on both sides for viewing how close to level you are, and mounts to a pole or a stick easily with the provided clamp. I would definitely buy this product again.

The laser is nice, and seems to shoot a good beam. The receiver sucks. It is extremely hard to get it to “tone on grade” perfectly. Yes it works but not good. I have used it with a topcon brand receiver and has no issues. We dig foundations for buildings and it works but we will 100% be buying a different receiver. Several people have this that I know and they all have the same issues.

As a home builder I don't use this level every day but when I do it's so great to be able to level by myself. Most of the subs I use that require leveling capability have been using laser levels for years. After shopping around this unit was the best price I could find. I trust Bosch and have many of their tools. The unit is well built, easy to set up, comes in a very protective case...well worth the price.

Came out of the box perfect. Still is after months of use. Needs a level bubble on the receiver. Tilt makes a big difference (-/+ 3/16") if you are not careful.

Very poor quality receiver, and poor product support!

Unit is well built and works great,the receiver is very sensitive so you just need to get used to that.Used this unit to grade and finish a whole new house from grading concrete footing to installing chair rail inside,so many uses,no messing with a level and trying to carry a line that way ever again.If I could just teach the wife not to stand between the laser and receiver to get a signal life would be perfect.

Used the laser for 2 days and already having trouble with it.Cheap grade stick and legs.Receiver not picking up signal,receiver and sound shuts off if not used for 5 minutes. Big mistake buying Bosch.

Good unit for the price. Has a few kinks, but overall pretty good.. I would say it's as good as the Topcon brand or Spectra Precision. I'm a concrete contractor. Had a Topcon for 20 yrs. finally wanted to get a newer unit.. So i bought the Bosch.. used it for over a yr now in brutal Canadian winter's. Seems ok..
