Good replacement gaskets
There was an initial order mix-up, but the seller followed up immediately and corrected the issue promptly and courteously. Once I received the correct product, they worked perfectly for my application. I was replacing the old red rubber ring seals on some of my wide mouth flip-top canning jars, and wanted to use silicone instead, as it tends to hold up better and not deteriorate or crack as quickly. They fit and seal perfectly. Incidentally, they sent me the silicone disk lid inserts first by accident, and those work really well in the ball/mason plastic screw-on lids. easy, fast, truly water-tight, and (importantly!) not hard to unscrew after.

Does the job but could be just a little thicker ...
Does the job but could be just a little thicker so that it would stay in the cap when stored.

They surprised me!
I had gotten some white Ball jar lids (the ones that aren't used for canning, just storing) and was disappointed that they were not even close to being leak-proof. I resigned myself to only using them for dried foods or those without liquids. Then I saw these gaskets and decided to give them a try. When I compared them to the inside of the lids, I was afraid that they were too wide -- they don't fit into the indentation around the circumference of the lids. But I decided to try one anyway. And it worked! No leaks at all. I put the whole thing (lid and gasket) in the dishwasher and both came out clean. They separated, but that's no big deal; I just put the gasket back into the lid for next time. Now I have a lot more usable lids. I recommend them!

So leaky! Not remotely watertight.
I bought these to pair with the Ball plastic caps (Ball Regular Mouth Jar Storage Caps Set of 8), because I use my canning jars for short-term storage or carrying drinks sometimes and, while the regular canning lids work fine for that, frequent trips through the dishwasher make the metal lid rings rust. However, I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but these things turned out to be almost completely useless. If a jar full of water sealed with one of these tips over inside my bag, it starts leaking immediately and within a few minutes there's fully half a cup of water soaking through the bag--the jar might as well be sealed with paper and a rubber band for all the good the plastic lid and ring do. If that much liquid can get through, I can't imagine they would be much use for preventing air exchange or freezer burn either. They work passably for very thick liquids like a smoothie or honey. Or I guess for something you never ever plan to let tip or jiggle. Maybe if the Ball caps were made of a stiffer plastic that could screw on much tighter, the extra pressure would make up for the weak seal of these rings, but as it is I'm considering just throwing the whole lot out.

Works for zinc lids
Bought these to use with the old Zink canning lids. They fit well and stay in place once installed. For now I am using the lid just for storage but I am curious to see how they will work for dry canning. I will order more in the future.

Gasket Rings fall out
The rings are not substantial enough to remain in place and keep falling out when trying to put the lid on the jar. I ended up buying these instead which worked much better: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0713SPYC8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

A tiny bit larger and they would be perfect.
The gaskets are great in theory, mediocre in delivery. They are just a little bit too small to grab the inside of the lids and because of this do not stay in place when attempting to screw on the lid. Turning the lid upside down to screw onto the jar and the seals fall out. When able to keep the seal in place, they work great, but are much too fiddly and frustrating for regular use.

Silicon doesn’t rot like rubber.
I’d like them to be a little thicker. Just received them, washed and put on first jar. I’m not sure they’re thick enough to prevent leaks or bugs. I’m going to try to bend the wire to make the seal more snug.
