lipivir(R) 2g - The Ultimate Cold Sore Prevention

I realy liked this product, it works for me, as I get sore cuts in the sides of my mouth due to retinol face products , plus some lipsticks, the. Downside is that the tube contains a lot of air, I find this the same in all cold sore creams containing acyclovirSo this is not unusual, the upside is that it works and is gentle, so weigh it up ? The price versus the fact that you get good results. I Will definately buy again.

A brilliant cold sore cream

This really works but you need to use it as soon as possible from noticing tingling or any redness etc. I’ve waited a day before as not sure if it was a cold sore coming and it wasn’t able to prevent it but if I use it within a few hours it manages to keep it at bay. Wish it wasn’t so expensive though.

I’ve never had cold sores on my lip ever since I started using lipivir in 2018. I used to have blisters in my upper lip once or twice every year which is uncomfortable and and not nice when it breaks and turn into a painful sore. Since I started applying this cream twice or three times a week I’ve never had it in 4 years. I always have a spare one in my bag because it’s also great as a lipgloss.

I always use this product, having tried many it is the most effective on the market.

Erm… fantastic product, works 100% to stop coldsore a developing when you feel the tingling coming on. But I think the manufacturers are scamming everyone! The tube is only 1 quarter full, and the rest is filled with air. Two small squeezes and the tube is empty. A tube of Zovirax is also 2gm so I am familiar with this size packaging, and they definitely do not cheat the customer by filling with air. Will not buy this again until the manufacturer sorts this out!!!

This stuff really does work. I’ve recommended it to so many people now. You do have to catch the cold sore at the beginning, but once you spot the cream you can literally feel the cold sore heal away in hours. Definitely worth the money.

Product is very greasy spreads everywhere disappointed with the size of the tube for the price does work if you manage to catch the tingle before cold sore appears would but again

I am afflicted with constant cold sores October-April. I have one or more almost all the time during the winter. For anyone who suffers from chronic cold sores, they will pay anything, and try anything to avoid getting them. That's the point of this product. It's not a band-aid, it's a preventative product.I purchased this for the first time March 2019, and it seemed to work, but moving into spring and summer, I am definitely less at risk of breakouts. So I wanted to wait until fall / winter arrived before writing a review. I have only had only 2 cold sores in 2019, and I think both were because I wasn't being diligent enough in ensuring I covered all areas of my lips, including just below the lip line where I am also vulnerable. Only 2 cold sores in one year is nothing short of a miracle for me.I work for a large drug store chain and petitioned to carry this product as it will make us a fortune (don't worry amazon, they opted not to carry it). No matter where I get it, I will continue to use this product as I am amazed at how effective it is, but you do have to be diligent!Other notes: a tiny bit is all you need. Mine seemed to last 2 months. I find most lipstick and lip balms disgusting tasting (scented), so this was a pleasant surprise. Also love the fact that is it a product of Switzerland. The Europeans in my experience are much kinder to their bodies in terms of ingredients.

As is similar to other customer reviews: I think they forgot to fill my tube cus it came half empty!?! However, a tiny drop works wonders so I guess I have to suck it up!?

It’s the best product to prevent cold soars hands down.

I really had hope for this because I hate getting cold sores and thought there was some way for me to not get them, but I used this for three days and woke up with one this morning.
