Rv and household use
Got this to button up spaces and where mice and rats can get into the RV. I like it. It’s in a roll and you can cut it to specific size. I love the tool and the gloves in there and the scissors so it’s a specific scissor. You don’t have to ruin house scissors value for the money is great. It’s durable easy to use And we’ll cut down on the mice. Easy to store products and use of gloves and scissors will come in handy later down the road.

Amazing product
This is amazing stuff! My pest guy used it to stuff in lots of spots around my log home (notorious for nooks and crannies where critters can get in). I love this stuff-it can be cut or pulled apart, it will stretch a little, and it comes with special scissors and gloves (peces of metal can cut your hands without gloves), and is better than steel wool or foil for keeping those little mice out.

Your mileage will vary
Works ok, but if you have serious rodent issues, hire a professional to seal your house properly. This is good for small needs only.

IT works!
Found out we had rats next door to an apartment which is connected to a house and we share a common basement. We had the pest guy who did what they do by putting some traps down, but I found out the scratching I heard was coming from the other side. Apparently behind our bathroom wall is the other person's kitchen so the scratching was on the other side, not under our bathroom floor. The owner of the house is nice, but not very proactive. After searching what we could do we came across this product. My husband sealed up all the outside holes around the foundation as best he could and then laid this barrier down. It's been about 2 months and No rodents!

Works like it’s supposed to.
Works great and pretty easy to use. Don’t rely on the scissors provided. Use heavy duty shears.

Yes this is what you want
Rather than get into a project into which you have to worry “am I doing this once and doing it right” just order up this kit….I hadn’t had any mice for 9 years in my apartment, then one day there was a family that had moved in. Catching them was a project in itself, but… a few weeks later more had moved In. I was really frustrated… LUCKILY I saw one dart into a room and I found a HOLE they were getting in though. Ahh, now I know what I need to do.So I searched and debated a little bit, asked myself if trying to save a little vs buying this kit. It was worth it. Firstly, I used the included tool to canvas my whole apartment with the “size” tool that’s included in this kit. This will tell you where the mice/rats/whatever can be getting in. Even includes a card along with the tool that can help you diagnose what variety of rodent you have. Without that tool I’m sure I would have passed over some spots and crevices, door jams, etc to block. The included gloves are nice and let you really handle the flexible steel wool jamming it firmly where it can perform best. The included heavy duty sheers make easy work of the wool and in truth both the gloves and sheets can and will be regularly used for other around the house projects. In short, I feel like this kit is worth the price, plus it’s on the shelf if I need to tackle another project. It’s not expiring or anything like that…. Time is valuable and you will know it’s done right.Speaking of shelf life, I used this kit + some ‘GreatStuff Pestblock’ expanding foam because that’s a great addition to the steel wool. I’d recommend both: No more mice!

Missed the Boat on the Gloves and Shears
Includes shears to cut the steel wool but they don't work very well. The coated gloves that are included only fit very small hands!!
