Ready-to-Use Dollhouse Stained Glass Windows for Hand Coloring

This book is wonderful and fun. I took the writers advice and colored both sides and the outcome was gorgeous. I cannot wait to use them in my dollhouse. I would suggest marker brushes they have the best effect, alcohol free preferably.

Simple to use patterns for creating beautiful stained glass dollhouse windows. The patterns are drawn out on the translucent paper which you fill in colouring-book style and cut out. I imagine you could also use these as a reference for patterns to paint directly on glass. I used them in my 1:12 scale victorian and I love them and have received many compliments on them. It took some time to figure out which medium worked the best on the paper, I found that simple acrylic paint worked well and gave a nice effect.

I purchased this book for myself, and I really like the variety of images in this book. What I like the most is the way the images are laid out in the book. Once colored, they can be used as is, or cut down to fit smaller size openings for just about any craft project that needs a little stained glass magic. I used one of the imagess for a small window I added to a mini cardboard house I was making. I used Sharpie colored markers and followed directions by coloring both sides of the image with the same colors. I used a small amount of clear glue to mount it to a piece of plastic packaging I had cut to size. I was very pleased with the result when I lit the window from behind.

This is already a great book! We got it today and have already colored several of the designs in. They are beautiful and fun to color. They will look great in the finished houses.

Was wanting to add some nice trim to some birdhouses I was building and came across this book. Very good stained glass window templates and easy to use for adding some nice details to my birdhouses.

This was a surprise in that I think I can re-use the designs as templates for more than one house. The other stained glass designs which I did in my friend's doll house I would have a hard time re-creating as they're mostly free-hand . So, I am excited to have this book. T he designs are lovely. If like me you can't afford real dollshouse bespoke stained glass windows, get this! Not only can you choose your colours, they are easy to paint/colour in. I'm going to laminate mine but as I have not done this yet I can't say how it will look or how well it will work. But as the paper is a kind of see through semi shiny surface I think it will laminate well.

Although this book had been used there was still loads of windows available. I have been after this book for a while and wasn't disappointed. I found I got the best effects with paint pens, I am also going to use some of them as stencils to make my own windows on clear Perspex.
