I love this book because it will make so many more ...
I have to say that I have read the book - This morning in fact. But I am also the Proud momma of the Author and the Illustrator. I love this book because it will make so many more people aware of the life of a child/adult who need these devises. It also brings us out of our comfort zones to accept everyone for who they are. I also love this book because it shows how strong mom's and dad's are and can be when they face life's issues head on. Meikele and Nico are so strong and loving it seems so natural now. Read the book and share it with others it will impact your life.

Just perfect for Tubie babies and children and their parents!
This book is a very sweet and informative story about a 2 year old with a G tube. It is perfect for parents of children with feeding tubes to read to their children. My son had a big grin on his face when we read it together. It is also informative of some of the struggles a Tubie baby faces as well as some of the care involved in protecting the Mic-key button. It also serves as a reminder that children with G tubes can still have normalcy in their lives and participate in everyday childhood activities. This book was published in a timely manner for our family. I'm so thankful we have it to share with our son!

Could have been better
I was so excited for this book but I was very let down. My son has a gtube and I was looking for a book for my nieces and nephews that would help explain his button. But I was really disappointed. The quality is okay but the illustrations are alittle creepy and the story line isn’t great and it’s alittle too advanced for a children’s book. Honestly with such a fantastic title I was hoping for something much better then it was. I’d buy it again because it’s the only book out there like this but it could have been so much better

This book is amazing! My son loves it
This book is amazing! My son loves it. His sister does too. They read it everyday. Also I loved the efficiency. I bought it 2 days before it arrived. I loved that it came in a bigger box so it wouldn't get lost. Not to mention the little boy in the book is the same age & has the same button as my son. We love every bit of this purchase. From the ordering to the physical product. I definitely recommend this for any tubie & their siblings or friends.

A perfect book for a tubey toddler.
I bought this book for my 20 month old grandson and his brothers to help them understand his upcoming Mic-Key placement and surgery. It is simple, factual and calming. It will be going to the hospital with him along with his tubey bear. The author so simply explains her son’s life that I see my grandson in the pictures from the NG tube to talking about therapists and not knowing the cause of the problem. This book is a must for families facing tube feedings.

Two buttons indeed.
My son is 3 years old and has been on a gtube since 7 months old. He loves this book. I recommend this book to any child (gtube or not) 2 years and up. I strongly recommend it to childcare providers and gastroenterologist pediatricians.

Good tool
Bought for our son who is 2 1/2 years old and even thought it is very informative it seems Robbie written for older kids or adults but it is a great tool for explaining all about a mic key button for when he gets old and other adults

Only ok.
I'm not going to bash another tubie momma's work, but honestly if I had the chance to do this over I wouldn't buy this book again. It just wasn't worth the $10 to me. Very short and I could have got the same point (or better, more personalized) across to my son by typing out our own routine and putting his pictures on it. In fact, that's probably what I'll do.

Nope!!
The illustrations are horrible. I can’t even give this to my grandchild, she’d be too scared by the pictures. The content isn’t great either. The book is 14 pages long with two to three lines of VERY large print per page. Absolutely not worth the money.
