This item was purchased as a gift for my boss. He has a tendency to play with correction tape while he's on the phone, resulting in folders that are coated in thick layers of elaborate white designs. Thought this would serve as a better creative outlet for him. The model I purchased was O (black rectangle with white sand, two black rocks, and one black pagoda, one brown pagoda). This one, to me, looked least girl-y and the most zen without being too minimalist.He's been using it everyday. The included tools are perfect and just the right size. I settled on this garden because the rake, etc. do not need to be purchased separately, and are appropriately sized (unlike the magnetic zen gardens whose reviews said the tools were almost full-size and totally impractical).Beautiful, and even though it's not on my desk, my blood pressure goes down every time I walk by it.

Good quality product and nothing arrived damaged or missing. This did come with a pagoda but I decided not to use it in my pic and used a diff stone I had insteadIt would be nice if the seller provided an extra bag of sand (for backup). One bag of sand is the perfect amount for usage, but it would be nice to have extra in case over time sand spills out from wind or transport.Overall the product is nice and as shown in pics, the only thing is I’m still debating if it’s worth the cost. Do miniature figurines cost a lot? If so then maybe it’s worth it. To me not sure still, because tray or items could look a bit nicer quality

We sent this as a gift to a family member who is recovering at home from an accident. He said it's amazingly peaceful and engaging. They sent pics and it looked beautiful, he had added some purple flower blossoms. It's completely creative and relaxing b/c there's no wrong way to use it. I'm so happy with this gift, it was just what I'd hoped for after reading other reviews. We bought the white sand square contained w/white buddha statue and rocks. Makes a very nice gift and very worth the price.

Such care was put into the packaging of this product! Well made and very impressive. Company definitely has integrity and cares about their product! Out of all of the items I ordered, this was the most kindly and carefully packaged. Goodness, even the packaging was aesthetically pleasing. I also love that a little informational booklet is included with the history/philosophy of zen gardens and common designs and techniques. Just lovely

I use mine at work and it’s very useful and decorative. It helps me relax and calm my anxiety. Definitely worth the money. Also, the sand that came with it was coarse and when raking it doesn’t show the lines. When I contacted the company they responded timely and replaced the sand for me, no cost. Love the customer service and product.
