ProActive Sports 4 Yards More Golf Tee (Variety Pack)

I looked forward to using these but came away very disappointed. For me, the main issue is the tees are very difficult to push into the ground in the summer. Why? The bottom sections of these tees (i.e. the coloured sections) are much, much thinner than a standard plastic or wooden tee. When the ground is hard the tee just bows rather than penetrating the turf. To make matters worse, it's difficult to apply downward pressure on the tee - push down with a ball in your hand and the tee's clear plastic bits splay and the ball veers off. With any other technique it's difficult to get any proper grip on the tee. Maybe these are just better suited to the US where generally the courses get watered more heavily in the summer - who knows.Did the ball go any further? It's hard to say conclusively - I got the impression that any difference was minor indeed.To end on a couple of positives. I never had one break on me and they're much easier to spot than a standard tee after hitting your shot. So they get some stars for that.But overall, getting these things into the ground can be a faff unless the turf is soft. Adjusting the angle of the tee is tricky because sideways pressure just temporarily bends the thin stem, rather than altering the angle - again, unless the ground is soft. Basically, as I sail from junior golfer to adult and into middle age, then the less I appreciate being bent over and fannying around when teeing up.

These tees are absolutely brilliant! Far more durable than wooden tees. Ball sits beautifully on top of the flared top and there is a tee for every club in the bag.

I found as mid handicap / golfer they are what it said on the packet, it give you that extra 4 yards better than plastic tees I buy

At last a tee that delivers. This time it is the ball that goes a little further and not the tee.
