Dont purchase for Gopro products
This microphone is not compatible with gopro 3+.The official gopro microphone adapter has a resistor built in. This adaptor does not, therefor it is not recognized by the gopro cameras, and will not disable the internal microphone. Dont purchase this if youre wanting to use it with a gopro product, unless youre willing to cut it it open and modify it with a resistor and sodering gun. (Not worth the effort)

Dongle didn't work!
The adaptor dongle didn't work. Luckily I still had my adapter from a previous microphone. This one works alright; one gets what they pay for. It picks up audio alright but not as sharp as my old mic.

Sensitive microphone
This is a sensitive microphone, not capturing the unnecessary noise in the surroundings. Easy to use and since it is clip-on you can bring it wherever you go.

Poor Quality
The adapter did not work at all. The mic worked fine, but also was not of the highest quality. With the price of the GoPro branded adapters dropping and getting close to the generic price-point, it makes more sense to just go with one of those.
