“Pussy” is a magnificent manifesto for soaring into joyous, erotic fulfillment and power for the latest phase of women’s lib. Its wonderfully penned by a woman who has already become a female Moses. I could rave on and on, but will keep this brief as I can bear. Mama Gena, as she is called, grew up hearing her father read the Bible every Friday night, while being abused by an older brother. So she’s “squaring the circle.” And she tells in vivid detail of the decades it has taken for her to forge these searing experiences into a soul healing for herself and then into a wellspring for leading a historic re-enacting of the salvation myth of Western spirituality: freedom from enslavement, inward as well as outward. For women at this stage, screaming is saved for “swamping,” deliberately set aside times for letting out anguish--crying, yelling, pounding pillows or whatever in the company of consoling goddess sisters. This book inspires and deserves a longer review. I'm a fellow author who admires Mama Gena's depth, warmth and skill, and have already suggested this to my three grown children and a couple of dozen clients (I’m a former clinical psychologist turned energy healer and spiritual guide). So let me just say: buy, read and share this book. The words are worth repeating: it's fun, juicy, literally and figuratively, insightful and ground breaking. And if you're not already cheering for a bottom up pussy revolution, go to YouTube, dial up any Donald Trump clip and listen for a full 60 seconds. Hasn’t he done us a wonderful service in making the crying need so glaring?

Some parts were triggering to me — ideas I had never heard of before. But overall I found it inspiring and made me want to cultivate radiance in myself to lift others higher!

I love this book! This has altered my life in some very profound ways! I still have trouble with some of the descriptions used and that's mine to work on lol! Let me say this, I was recommended this book by a friend, thank goodness! If you are struggling with low libido, or not, or just want to have an honest and realistic understanding of your body and pleasure, listen to this book! If you want to have an incredible connection with someone and self, listen to this book! Dont be afraid to open your mind! The author is so genuine! I'd highly recommend!!

I bought this book because I found the title intriguing. I expected it to be a lot of fluff but I was pleasantly surprised!The book is empowering in many ways. Regina Thomashauer encourages the reader to embrace their sensuality, have pleasure, self love and consequently all this has a positive impact in other areas of your life. This can range from having confidence to cleaning and tidying up your home. There was a bit of history thrown in here and there - I found the section on courtesans interesting.What I loved while reading this book was that Regina Thomashauer’s vibrant energy and humor came across powerfully!The only downside was that the book was repetitive. There was liberal use of the ‘P’ word ...but then again maybe that was the whole point.

Get this book, read it , live it

Love the concept of the book and how it empowers women to get more into pleasure as an act of resistance against the patriarchy and societal norms. I definitely felt a shift and have been bringing more pleasure practices into my life and business and am in the process of reclaiming myself, my sexuality, and my independence.That being said there are definitely some problematic parts that made my skin crawl. It’s obviously very heteronormative, which is to be expected since we’re talking about p*ssies. The other parts of the book definitely lacked an inclusive lens (very white centering) and felt a bit shame-y (the dig on women who shave their p*bic hair). There’s definitely potential in this book if it were to come from an intersectional feminist lens.
