Saunarctic´s Nordic Style Natural Bath and Body Brush, Long Handle, Practical, Durable and Elegant Scrub for Relaxing Spa Moments and Brushing

I have used a back scrubber in the shower for years. I always got the cheap plastic kind you could find in a drugstore; they were effective, but eventually the long handle always broke, which rendered them useless. I was particularly careful with the last one I got, not shaking it out too vigorously; no matter - it broke anyhow. I also tried something which was clearly a redesigned toilet scrubber (!) - same shape, longer handle; it was effective, but the bristles wore out too soon. I have a rather nice loofah-on-a-stick with a sturdy, detachable wooden handle, but it was a bit too gentle for my taste - a slightly rough surface, but no bristles. Worse, I am a rather hirsute individual, and once the hairs work their way into the weave of the loofah, they become impossible to clean out. (Sorry if that's TMI, but I can't be the only hairy guy who uses a shower brush.) So I was looking for the best of both worlds: a traditional bristle brush, but a wooden handle which wouldn't fatigue and crack. Amazon, which has everything imaginable, did have the cheaper plastic kind, but they also had this wooden-handled brush from Saunarctic, and I thought I'd give it a try. It's a bit more expensive, but if it costs twice as much and lasts three times as long, I still come out ahead. I've used it several times now, and while I can't yet speak to its longevity, it was exactly what I needed. The (natural) bristles are less harsh than the nylon ones on plastic brushes, but much more effective than the loofah. A nice bonus is that it is shipped with a little box around the brush head, which you can put back on when you travel, to keep the bristles from getting crushed in your suitcase. So if you're getting tired of disposable plastic back brushes, and a loofah doesn't work for you, give this one a try. You won't regret it.

This brush handle is longer than the one I had which is a good thing. The reason for only 4 stars is because the bristles are not as long as the one I was using. But it doesn’t prevent the job from getting done in the shower. It has a nice rope tie to hang it.

First impression a real product,i will use it and be back with update,update on my review just used and this brush needs work,firs hairs on brush need to be longer,dimension need to be bigger i mean the head need to be wider its to small,second the handle need to be curved not flat because can't reach some spot on my back, and end of handle should be round nat flat,not comfortable to hold it

Too soft to defoliate. Nicely made, however.

The brush had has already started crack and I've only used it less than a month...

Great brush, especially at the price point. Bristles are soft enough to be comfortable but stiff enough to exfoliate. Straight handle not ergonomic for curvature of back, but that was expected. I like the fact that it is made with natural materials.

This is a great brush, really well constructed. Only used it once so far but the bristles are just stiff enough to give a good scrub yet soft enough to be pleasant. Good company with a good product, if you're looking for a bath brush to get those hard to reach spots and work the skin I would definitely recommend giving this a shot. Well worth the money.

Brush is firm and excellently crafted. The only thing I wish is that they made one with a longer handle. Was delivered on time.
