I got this press for Memorial Day weekend smash burgers and it did a fantastic job! I used it along with parchment paper and was pleased with the results. Very sturdy and strong enough to take the weight I gave it to press on the burgers. Easy to clean. If you need something to like this for your smash burgers, I recommend this tool!

Perfect size and weight for making smash burgers on the blackstone. Quality metal and as long as you use a piece of parchment paper when smashing there is little to no mess nor sticking.

Right tool for the task. My husband prefers a Smashburger and this does a good job.. I make a lot of turkey burgers during the week so it’s worth having. I don’t know if I would buy it if I rarely made burgers. It’s dishwasher, safe and good quality.

Bought this for my griddle/smash burgers. Well made for what it is but a few issues before use. Unlike the product photo, the rivets holding the handle shows through on the belly of the press. Not an issue but food particles can remain on the weld spots so need to be mindful when cleaning. The edges of the steel are sharp. Need to take some 220-grit sandpaper to ease the edges of the circle pad and handle supports. Aside from those things, the handle is welded nicely to the supports and it feels sturdy overall. Looking forward to using it but had to knock off a star for the fabrication issues. UPDATE (10.18.2022): Used the press extensively for smash burgers and it worked very well. I used parchment paper between the press and the beef balls when smashing and have no sticking issues. Item smashes the burger progressively and evenly without sliding around on my griddle. Large diameter handle provides confident grip/hold during pressing action. Cleans up easily with warm water and dish soap. Still keeping it at 4-stars due to the aforementioned fabrication issues (sharp edges), but certainly happy with its performance and functionality. Would buy again. Happy smashing!

Quality built and feels good in the hand. Easily smashes and cleans up very easy. Not too heavy but gets the job done well. Worth the price!

Works as expected. Was going to buy a more expensive one with wood or rubber handle but glad I didnt with the mess smashburgers make! Easy clean up every time! Will buy as gifts for sure.

Making a smash burgers is a breeze with this well made and strong press. It is big and sturdy so you do not need to fear pressing too hard and then slipping , only to sear you knuckles and be left with a side of pain with that burger. Great purchase.

Nice product. Quality is great. I recommend putting parchment paper on the meat before smashing as some of the meat sticks to the smasher.

This press is a game-changer for burger night. Heavy enough to flatten patties evenly without sticking, and the handle feels sturdy and comfortable. Makes perfect smash burgers every time. Cleanup is quick, just a wipe down or a rinse if you’re using parchment paper. Great quality for the price, and way easier than using a spatula. Highly recommend if you want that smash-style burger at home
