Metal Box with Lock

Purchased this mountable locking box for our church to be able to accept donations and it works perfectly. There is a spot for envelopes/pens behind the drop slot. There isn't as much room as I hoped for but I opted for a slimmer model due to the location it was being placed. Highly recommended for the price.

It works for collecting money in a rental unit. Inexpensive and durable

I work at an office where customers may need to drop off payments after hours so we purchased this for that reason. We are pretty happy with it, it does what its supposed to do. The installation is very quick and easy, it comes with everything you need (assuming you have basic tools). The only downside is that it's a little small so if you have 8.5 x 10 paperwork going in it has to be emptied regularly. The other thing is someone could reach in the top to pull things out through the opening but we just hung it kinda of high (above eye level) to make this difficult. Again we are happy with it but I wouldn't recommend it if you need something super secure. If you're looking for something that is somewhat secure and provides some privacy, this will work nicely.

I got this to use as a tip box while face painting at festivals. I needed something durable and compact and this works perfectly. I added a tip sign on the front which stays on well using adhesive Velcro tabs. Since it locks I didn’t have to clean out the tips, they fit inside even when it was quite full. Many other options are acrylic which would crack easily if dropped or packed in a storage case. Love my new tip box!

Great product and easy to hang up. Glad I was able to screw to the wall from inside the unit making it more secure. My only concern is the lock gets in the way of depositing envelopes and documents. The compartment in the back is a convenient featur, as well

We are using the box along with a display at our church that’s called The Giving Wall. It’s worked out perfectly so far. We attached a magnetic holder for pens and for people to put their tacks in after taking an envelope from the display. It comes with 2 keys. There is a larger open area across the back that goes about halfway down the box if you need to hold cards, brochures, pens, etc. The red color really stands out so people know where the box is. I saw this box on other websites and it’s the least expensive here.

This lock box was perfect for my intended purpose. However, if you are looking for something very sturdy that would prevent someone from breaking into it, I would go with something else. I am not saying it isn't a sturdy box, as it is constructed very well. It just has a simple lock and the opening at the top could be bent to get items out of it if someone wanted to do so.
