This is my first adventure getting a biometric padlock and I'm definitely not disappointed! I purchased this so I could open my gym locker a bit faster without fiddling around with a typical code lock. It's made things so much easier and it works seamlessly. I was also impressed that you can add up to 15 different fingerprints for all your fingers or for others to open it (that's more than my iPhone can do).DesignYou're going to want to keep in mind the size of this lock when buying. It's not super big and thick, so it's perfect for a locker like my picture shows but you'll probably need a bigger one if you want to secure your shed door or something. It's fairly compact, fitting easily in the middle of your palm. The main body is made out of plastic, and it overall feels pretty sturdy. Its aesthetics are nothing fancy and it keeps to itself which is what I wanted (it has no obnoxious blue fingerprint decal on the reader either).FunctionalityIt's very easy to add fingerprints and remove them but not easy enough that you'd do it by accident. It explains it clearly on the box and basically all you have to do is unlock it and hold down for a few seconds to enter adding-a-fingerprint mode (it has a flashing indicator light to assist you). In fact, I'd say if you lost the box you'd probably still be able to remember how to add or remove prints without looking it up. The fingerprint recognition is also very reliable and quick and it has a satisfying little motor buzz when it opens. The battery lasts for 2000 unlocks (it uses no battery to re-lock it) and it has a micro USB port which makes it not difficult to top it back off.Overall I'm very impressed with the build and the ease-of-use of the product. I couldn't have asked for anything better, and the convenience of the fingerprint was definitely worth the price.

When I was searching I was looking for a lock that has bluetooth/application capabilities. Depending on which color you choose you may not get that functionality. The lock is okay, and will serve its purpose. I think the cost is a little elevated for it being so tiny and basic.

You need a smartphone to set the lock. You have to download the app in order for it to pick up your fingerprint. Once you get the lock, you can open it with just a touch. Only after you've programmed it. Setting fingerprints is quick and easy. So far, it's been able to read my fingers every time. The biggest problem is that it's not suitable for outdoor use, and there's no problem with fingerprint and Bluetooth passcode. Since I set it up, I have unlocked it many times using my fingerprint or an app, each time successfully without having to carry a key that could be lost, or having to remember numbers or codes, which is very convenient while I don't have a key or forget to know the lock password. Being able to unlock my fingerprint solves the problem for good.

If you have a anxious child or a forgetful one that fumbles with the code or forget the key. Problem solved!

The media could not be loaded.  This lock is very easy to use. It comes with instructions and I was able to set it up in less than a minute. It is amazing how well it works. I only set up one finger to open it, but you can add more fingers. The battery life on it is also very long. I have had it for over two weeks now and it is still running on just one charge. The box also came with a charger to use. I am impressed on how well it works, considering the price I got it for.

I charged it for a full day-and-a-half, used the app, followed the weak instructions, and it NEVER worked!! I sent it back. I would’ve given it ZERO stars, but it wouldn’t let me, so one star.
