I love the ease of use of this floss, and the gorgeous sheen. I find metallic thread very fiddly because it has to be frequently waxed, and it frays anyway. This will be my go-to means of adding shine to my embroidery from now on.

I'm making a flowered pillow for my home . the jeweled tones are perfect for the color sceam.

These are bright colors. Don't have a long thread going on your needle because after you pull them through a couple of times, the material closer to the needle will start to separate and shred some. Just the same, I will be buying more of these because the colors are so good.

While I love the color and shine of this floss, the qualities that make it look so nice makes it a pain to work with. The strands separate and bunch up, love to tangle, and refuse to be smoothed.Know this going in and you can adjust your stitching and take your time to help avoid frustration. I believe the end result will be worth it.

I ordered these to make tassels for jewelry. I was looking for something shiny. I used to do needlepoint, so I know something about floss. This floss is VERY slippery. Knots do not hold. It is almost impossible to make tassels with this….very tedious and tiresome and takes too long. I think the shine would be pretty on needlepoint, but I am not sure how it would hold when you finish a strand and pull it under in the back. I agree with a previous reviewer that this is frustrating to work with.

When I cross stitch I love to work with the satin floss. Whether using it to replace certain colors or using just to accent a piece the satins just add a great touch to any piece.

Bellissimi colori, brillanti e in questo caso il filo è morbido e facilmente lavorabile, a differenza della serie metallica che invece da spesso problemi.
