I genuinely do not believe this will support 1400 lbs. can someone prove me wrong?

We used this cart to move concrete pavers (red bricks) from the street to backyards for our construction company. We stacked bricks across the entire area of the cart and a couple feet high. Did this for a couple years. We finally broke a weld near front axle pulling 1800 lbs of bricks when going over a pothole that caused the load to drop down quickly. It can absolutely carry 1400 lbs with no issues. This was all with human power— one guy pulling on the handle and one or two guys pushing down low at the back, like rugby players trying to wheel a scrum. I probably wouldn’t load it to 1400 lbs and tow it behind an ATV on bumpy ground bc the force over bumps will be a multiple of the load weight. But this thing is an absolute beast. When the gorilla cart was temporarily out of commission (a friend re-welded it in five minutes) we had to switch to carrying bricks in commercial grade wheelbarrows and the job took three times longer.

Can the front and back walls be removed independently while leaving the 2 long sides attached (for hauling long pieces of lumber)?

I haven't tried it but would probably use a strap or rope to hold the sides vertical. The walls are pretty open though so you might be able to leave the front/back walls on and thread the lumber through the open spaces, depending of what kind of lumber it is.
