This was so incredibly fragile that i didn't even get to take it outside. It was raining so I installed it and gave it a whirl indoors. When i set the drone down from about 3 feet in the air it actually broke the mount and the camera fell to the floor. This was on thickly padded carpet, not some hard crash onto a tiled floor or something.I evaluated the pieces after it broke and I'm certainly not surprised. The plastic is extremely thin and barely has any connection area on the one side.. less than 3 mm of plastic holds it together.While i don't think it will break in mid air, i do think it is too fragile to expect to use more than a few times. Buy something better or create your own set up.

Excellent mount. Absolutely no jello effect with a gopro clone and unbalanced blades and straight-forward to mount. Light-weight and solid hold of camera. If the minimal-mount provided does not work with your cam, the pivot is standard so you can mount a more specific holder. Did not adversely affect flight either other than the obvious average weight. Seems to be centered well-enough.

I purchased this "BTG Camera Holder Anti-shock Gimbal Mount Adapter for Syma X8C X8G X8W X8HC X8HW X8HG RC Quadcopter - Compatible with GoPro 3 3+ 4 Camera, Xiaomi Yi Action Camera, SJCAMS SJ4000 SJ7000 Action Camera" as a more stable replacement to the stock camera case on my Syma X8G. The shipping was fast and the gimbal arrived undamaged.The Gimbal is exactly as pictured and fit perfectly into the same slot as the stock camera. I used an SJ6000 and there were no issue with the fit. I love the flex this gimbal allows which helps greatly when taking video with the drone in advanced/high speed mode. There is almost no noticeable vibration unless flying in moderate wind which should be a given. I also own a Xiaomi camera and the fit was exactly the same as the SJ.Overall I could not be happier with this gimbal as not only is it much more stable than stock, but I get extra flight time now that I don't have the stock camera draining the battery.

Fell apart on first flight. The whole thing just came apart. Luckily my camera wasn’t damaged. From other reviews I could see this wasn’t worth it, but I wanted so badly for it to work. Welp, first flight and it’s in pieces just from the vibration, didn’t crash it land on it or anything. WeakThe problem is those little boots are the only things holding it together. I think the vibration just caused them to come loose and that was that.

I finally got to use my mount for my new action camera on my Syma x8w. Clipped in well, action camera fit well. And it did its job in the air that is why I gave it 2 stars. BUT if you land it somewhat hard, a decent jolt to the ground... the 4 cheap "thin" rubber shock pieces pop right out of there spots and the whole thing has to be taken apart to put them back in. Out of my first 6 landing it happen twice. If your good at landing then it shouldn't be a problem, but if you have a hard landing even once it could all come apart

I'm not very impressed with this mount. The rubber vibration isolators pull out of the holes far to easily. When I mounted the camera to this I had the isolators fall out several times just from handling the mount and camera.The first time I used it the two plates detached and the camera came off my drone. Luckily this was during landing and did not damage the camera (though I almost lost the camera). During this incident I lost one of the runner isolators and therefore I cannot even use the mount any longer.This is not a very secure setup.

This anti jello mount (not gimbal) works great! Even with unbalanced props! Those customers who are having jello problems, try shooting in 1080p 60fps. The higher frame rate helps to reduce the jello effect. As for the landing gear in the shot, it's the action camera not the mount. Action cameras, especially the Fauxpro (go pro knockoffs like the yi cam, sj's, ect.) shoot at an extremely wide angle (170°). If you buy the tall DJI landing gear it will solve that problem (they just screw on, no modification needed), BUT they create a stability problem when landing thanks to their small footprint; so weigh the pros and cons if your new to the hobby.I would and have recommended this mount to X8 owners. All I had to do was pull it out of the mailbox, snap it onto the quad (no screws, no other modifications needed), and pop the camera in the holder; it doesn't get much easier than that! It even survived a few minor crashes.

Its definitely a good fit for my action camera and utilizing it for what im using which is a dash cam. I dont have a go pro. My camera fits in pretty solid. Price is great and seems like its durable.I hope this helped some one
