Tips are dull, which is safe, but not effective for harder ground. Would recommend the shorter ones, makes it easier to press into ground with your feet. Be careful of the hooks that hold your guy lines, they're mildly sharp and could cut your guy line. Carry bag is heavier and bulky, would be nice to see something for the ultralight crowd.

These are extremely lightweight and much smaller than I anticipated but they work perfectly for my use. I am using these to fasten aluminum labels for my specimen trees. I attached the aluminum labels using copper wire and utilizing the small hole in the stake. I removed and discarded the attached string.

Replaced some of those L shaped straight stakes. Had the blind out for two weeks and it didn't budge. Like the little reflective bright color rope on the end makes locating them a breeze.

Easy to drive the stakes in due to the flat head on the hammering side. I have an Aluminum headed axe/sledgehammer which works perfect with these. I like the carrying case & the orange color helps avoid stepping on them. The lanyard makes pulling them out easy.A good, solid buy that delivered as expected.

These went into the ground very well, even when it was hard ground with stones though I did have to pick a different place at times of course to put them when I ran into stones that were too big. After they're used the loops on them make them very easy to remove just hook the hammer claw and through the loop and pull up presto they come right out. I already purchased two of these when I bought them and I intend to buy at least another two packs of them I'm that impressed with them.

These are sturdy aluminum stakes that were able to take a beating from a rubber mallet and replaced cheap wire stakes for two brand new tents.

Not for sand! In dirt they work well. Light weight and much better than wire stakes. Pull out ok with little dirt to clean off. Just don’t take to the beach.

We have used these on a campsite with hard, dry Alberta ground. It worked well (only one bent a bit).
