Really good Arrangements
I have used Dozen a Day for my students for years. The exercises are terrific and develop the habit of working on techniques one step at a time. And it definitely transfers to other pieces. I am thrilled to find the added Songbooks because of the excellent arrangements of popular music. Excellent arrangements!!!!

Fun piano books!
I bought several of these piano books for students. They are enjoying them. They have some fun piano pieces which are not too difficult to master. I was really happy to find these books by Dozen a Day. Playing piano should be fun and these books make it fun!!

Ok book. Needs improvement
Some of the songs don't have words which I find strange for a songbook. In other song, the melody changes from the treble clef to the base clef without any real purpose. I think the music could have been written better than what has been published. My son's voice teacher feels the same way and would prefer to use a different book.

I absolutely love the original Dozen a Day books
I absolutely love the original Dozen a Day books, but to be honest I found this new series of Songbooks a little disappointing. The books are surely aimed at young learners, but the songs are so out of date that I can't imagine they'd be of interest.Apart from that, it's a nicely printed book and arrived very speedily.
