I have made multiple purchases from these guys and I’ve never been disappointed. Not only did I receive way more than I anticipated, given how reasonably priced these meteorite fragments were, but the quality of the pieces were out of this world, pun absolutely intended. To the people complaining about the small pieces and price: fragments this size are most common because of the way meteorites break apart before and after impact. If you want a big meteorite, you can expect to pay a premium price. Usually meteorites are worth up to $5+ per gram; even small pieces are heavy because they’re Iron based. So these pieces may be small but mine weighed around 40 grams, and I know this particular meteorite has sold for about $2-$3 per gram other places- so to get 40 grams for this price is amazing and I’m in love with the unique shapes. Can’t wait to make another crystal purchase from this store.

Very well packaged, and came in a nice pouch. But look at the size! The picture on Amazon is - in my mind - very misleading. For this price you can get these Tektite pieces much much larger on ebay. Albeit not packaged as well. :)

The media could not be loaded. Not like the picture in Amazon demonstrated this item is very small not worth the money.

I've bought meteor pieces before. For what these cost, you can buy a much more sizable fragment from other dealers.They come "sandwiched" between two pieces of plastic, but both of mine came with the 3 pieces bunched together in the plastic. Hard to discern them apart this way.I have to admit, I wasn't sure about buying these from an Amazon vendor, now I know that when it comes to meteorites, they are usually sold by weight and type. These are priced cheap because of the actual size.Claimed to be about. 5 inches...well slightly smaller. All 6 of mine are measuring smaller.Just be aware that real fragments have a cost, and for slightly more than what these cost, you can get much more impressive fragments.

A size comparison would have helped with the buying decision.
