I've done acupuncture in the past with generally favorable results, but it can be pricey. I decided that for some home body maintenance work I'd try a mat and if it didn't work well, then I'll take the loss as just over the price of a single acupuncture session. This mat is great. I lay on it for about half an hour and afterwards I can feel the endorphins kicking in. This is anecdotal, but I've felt some problem areas in my back and shoulders improve over time while using this mat, and feel generally better overall. This doesn't act as a full substitute for acupuncture, but as a relatively cheap alternative and supplement to overall health, it's a good mat for not a bad price. Using this with some good lifestyle hygiene (exercise and stretching, good diet, good sleep practices), you could see some major improvements in your health and mood. I sure did.

I used the Kuznetsov applicator before, but this mat is harder and the effect is stronger. I recommend it, you won't regret it.

I have purchased most LYAPKO acupuncture items I can get. Mat is by far the best. And I have used ( plastic tip) acupressure mats for years. This is sonehow, better. Please, LYAPKO, bring back the roller with wooden handle. My cats love it so much and I soak clean but, I figure they should have their own. Regarding marketing, please do. Cats prefer it to even brushing. Mimics mama cat tongue when applied gently. ♡🐈🐈‍⬛

This mat is NOT your typical plastic acupressure mats. Also not for the feint of heart. However I give this mat 6/5 stars. Laying on this mat consistently, almost completely eliminates pain. It’s a painful, but totally rewarding magical experience. You may need to use a pillow, towel or other tool to make sure the mat is fully touching all affected areas. If you’re already thinking of purchasing this mat, just do it! Much cheaper than massage or acupuncture, it mays for itself in just one session. I 110% recommend this amazing product!

The thing is good, but the price tag could be lower.

One of my relatives tried this product at an integrative treatment center for a chronic illness. She had chronic back pain for years, and the first time she used this product she had immediate relief. I have had chronic low back pain for 15 years. The first time I used this product I had some relief in my low back, which I have NEVER had from any other product / physical therapy / etc. It does hurt when you initially lie down on it, but within 3 minutes your body gets used to it and it doesn't hurt anymore. From both my experience, and physicians recommendation, it is best to use at least once a day for 20 minute intervals. But of course it doesn't hurt to use it more often / longer periods of time. I was told that if you can't handle lying down on the mat, you can lie on your stomach and put the mat face down on your back. Don't let the initial pain from lying down on it or even just from touching it, keep you from trying this multiple times. You WILL feel relief from it!

This product truly does what it promises-relieves from pain, relaxes joints, balances the overall posture. The initial 3 minutes are hard but then the relaxatioct is surprisingly deep-you might just fall asleep on the mat. Great investment. Recommend every one to try. Thank you Dr.Lyapko

It takes some time adjusting to it but once your skin/body gets fine tuned after a couple uses this thing is amazing for back recovery. I use it in my gaming chair overtop of my lumbar support pillow and this thing works wonders. - You just have to be careful handling it is all *Owned for about 2 months now* thing definitely is built to last. High quality and will easily last you a couple years and potentially more if well taken care of
