Bodyprox Knee Brace with Side Stabilizers & Patella Gel Pads for Knee Support

Best knee brace I’ve purchased. Wearing often after knee gave way resulting in painful meniscus fray/cartilage tear. Avoiding walking 6 weeks gave knee time to recover somewhat and pain to subside. Velcro quality is great after several months+ use of daily wear. Highly supportive brace support. Easy to put on, fits properly and comfortably. Wears easy with no break down of product integrity. Compression is adjustable around Patella with top and bottom connecting wraps. Then the 2 wrap around lengths provide more adjustable stability. I would recommend. Other braces are not as consistently supportive, adjustable or reliable. Very pleased I bought this Bodyprox.

It's not often that I get to write a really great review. Through many knee braces with ice packs in the past that never fit right to a couple I recently tried for a different issue, this one fit the best for my knee. I got the One Size - the strap around my thigh fit well and the strap around my calf fit without gaps or bunching, which is huge. The two other straps which you place in an X are fantastic; they support each side of the knee which is exactly what I was looking for. After several trials to see what worked best, I put the brace on standing up, over my pants, first the thigh strap then the calf, then take the other straps one at a time diagonally across the knee and strap to the calf as opposed to up towards the thigh. The velcro can be aggressive but not overly so; I think it's perfect and will last a long time. The quality of the brace seems fine, I don't see any issues in the sewing or otherwise. I do not know how it would be against skin as far as comfort but the fabric feels soft enough. The gel around the knee is good, the hole is a little smaller maybe than others but I was able to put my knee on the ground with it without discomfort. I did try it on over thermals with loose straight pants on top and it was almost unnoticeable. I had no slippage, I had full support of my knee side to side, it felt comfortable to wear even over my loose pants, and I felt safer wearing it while doing something physical that involved turning my body at times. Hands down the best knee support I've ever tried and for the price, unbeatable. I would recommend this to anybody who is having difficulty finding a good fit for the thigh and the calf, as so many others fail to do, and also for the excellent support it provides.

This is a high quality brace. I have had OA in my knees for many years. I generally just pushed through until last year. I sprained my knee and was prescribed a brace with metal hinges. It worked for what I needed then but I wanted something a little less bulky for normal activities and I was looking through the products here. I had this brace in my cart for awhile. About two weeks ago, I was feeling good and over did it in the yard. My one knee was seriously aching after the yard work. So, I finally broke down and bought this brace. The fabric of the main brace was soft and comfortable. The support and compression was good. The patella ring was comfortable. I felt relief the first day I wore the brace. Those are the qualities. The problem I had were the cross straps. They are not the same fabric as the main sleeve. They crossed behind my knee over the cutout for flexibility. They rubbed on the skin on the back of my knee and they were irritating. Then, I think the brace was oversized. The main straps started sliding out of line through the day. I think this would be great for someone who wants to wear it over pants or workout clothes, this would be a great product. I returned it because I didn't like the way it gathered in the back of my knee. I want to wear it with shorts and under my pants.

Its a very good , soft knee brace, i ordered an XL because i am always XL, but not in this case. I only needed an L. So be careful. I actually had to cut part of one strap to make it fit. It was too bulky with all that extra material, Now its great. I love it and will order a new one, Large, after holidays when mail is easier. I reccomend it for light support. Its so spongie and soft, not hot either, which is great in the desert.

Good support for patella positioning but no support for medial or anterior ligaments (side of the knee). Be aware of what the brace does prior to purchasing.

It's perfect. On the early morning hours of July 4th, my knee decided this was the day to give out. I could barely walk or sleep because of the pain. I ordered it at 3:30 in the morning and got it by 10:53am. I needed it to work later on in the night. Other reviews complain about certain things, like the straps or slippage. It hardly slips. If you adjust it correctly then you shouldn't have an issue. I wear it with and without a barrier underneath, because it's that comfortable. I was skeptical about it because of the price, but it's actually the best supportive one you can get under $20. It has a wide range of stretch and it's very durable. I've been using it since that day. That 80% pain decrease is the TRUTH! I take it off and the pain comes back. It can get uncomfortable if you have it on too tight. It's not to thick like a more professional looking support,but this one is very worth it. You need to review the sizes before you purchase. One size isn't one size at all, it's small/medium. I almost made that mistake. I wear a large and it's great. The Velcro is awesome. If you need some pain relief and ability to walk a little better then get this.

Works great! Got this for my mom after she mentioned another product that looked minimalist at the same time cost double what I paid for this. So after a bit of research and looking at all the functions that support and alleviate stress on the knee, I decided to try this out. Product came in a hard quality box package. Inside the box was the Support unit in a somewhat sealed plastic instruction manual, and cardboard along the inner-frame. . Didn't feel cheap, and thought went into make it. There are 4 securing points that's Velcro with medium in secure strength. Tow of them on the back that is above and below the knee to secure the whole thing in place. Then, there are two stretch bands that stretch over from the front, cross over in an "X" under the patella bone....this is important to help alleviate some weight and stress in the joints, cross over the back of the thigh, and then secure around the center of your top thigh. The size was definitely meant for my mom, but seemed a bit bulky. like it's designed for active people rather than casual home activities . IMO, I like it, but doesn't suit my mom's casual style. Since function supersedes design, she doesn't mind at all. It vent's well, but with the heat, I think this will be better year round, but summer. Overall, very satisfied with the product.

I purchased this to support my knee during long hikes and during workouts that involve squats and lunges. My knee cap tracks incorrectly and I have some damage to my knee cartilage, and this brace keeps my knee cap in line. I haven't had the chance to test this out on a long hike yet, but seeing as it offers good support during workouts, I expect it to work. Here are the most notable pros and cons: Pros: - Good price for what it is - Very adjustable, love the criss-crossing straps - No annoying, painful side-bars - Gel padding around knee cap is comfortable and makes kneeling easier - Helps knee track correctly and relieves pain - Great for holding ice packs on your knee! Cons: - Velcro on all straps won't last a super long time. The first brace I bought is about 6 months old and already wearing out significantly even with relatively light use - Takes a while to figure out how to adjust it correctly -- if you don't strap it on just right, the gel ring can put pressure on your kneecap and cause discomfort - Will not stay in place if you wear it over pants no matter how tight you strap it -- this doesn't stay on over leggings and athletic pants (maybe jeans are better?), which makes wearing it outside in colder weather almost impossible
