This ceramic planter is intended to be used as a cache pot for large houseplants. A liner should be used in it, to be able to control drainage and manage moisture levels. The inner neck width is approximately 6.5 inches wide, so that is the limit on liner pot diameter. The pot is glazed in a glossy black on the lower half. The neck is glazed in a textured copper brown. The interior is a coppery reddish tone. Around the rim is a highlight glaze which varies from blue and purple, to white. It is usable indoors or outdoors, but should not be used outdoors when the temperature is below freezing. Color varies on different computer screens.
