I love grilled cheese, but I hate the bother of yanking out a pan and cooking them. The flipping. Then washing said pan. Now I can freely be lazy and have great grilled cheese! I'll tell ya, I did have to modify mine a little. Because I butter the outside of the bread, I found it a chore to get the sticky bread into the bags just right, but I found that if I tear the sides of the bag open and just lay it flat, I can easily lay the buttered bread on each side, butter down, lay in the cheese slices, then fold the flaps together again and pop in the toaster on the next to highest toast setting to brown the outside. When it pops up I grab the handles and pull out perfectly browned and buttery, melty grilled cheese every single time. And because the toaster is on a timer, I can walk away and not worry about burning the sandwich. No flipping required, and cleanup is a matter of draping the bag in the dishwasher between tines in the upper basket . I frequently used mine for quite long time before they finally looked too tattered to use. Granted, they lose their shiny good looks over time, but remain perfectly functional until they pretty much fall apart. Totally worth the price I paid, and I will buy again and again as they wear out.

What a great invention! You get greaseless (unless you butter the bread,) toasted, melted cheese sandwiches right from your toaster!They taste delicious, and there's so little cleanup. Just wait for any melted cheese in the bag to cool, turn the bag inside out, and remove it. It's edible, of course. (Sometimes, there isn't even any "meltover." It depends on the cheese you use and the toasting temp.)Then, you can wash the bag and use it over and over. I have one that's months old. I accidentally tore it's partner, so i was down to one bag. I couldn't find them locally...But Amazon to the rescue!I highly recommend these! Add a few sweet pickle chips to the sandwich, after toasting, as I do!

I was skeptical about these when I got a free sample pack (not for review purposes...work related) but my wife and I genuinely enjoyed using them to make warm sandwiches. We use them for lunchmeat with cheese to warm up the contents toast the bread a bit. Not sure if they are effective for truly melted cheese but I haven't tried them for strictly a cheese sandwich either.A few issues to note: bags do not really have the life expectancy or usage quantities that are claimed, at least from my experience. We found that the heating elements in the toaster will burn/scar the bags over time and even produce some smoke and burnt toast if you don't monitor cook time. If you are prone to making very thick sandwiches, they may not fit. Excess cheese, crumbs, etc... can collect and harden in the bag. You can run them through the dishwasher (top rack) but some of that stuff just gets caked in and eventually seems unsanitary to keep using.Obviously, I liked these enough to buy a new set, though.

Super convenient way to make a grilled cheese! Add bread and cheese, put into bag and toast. We use rye bread which is a little taller than these bags, so I do have to pop it up and turn sandwich over and re-toast briefly to cook entire sandwich. Don't put butter on the outside of the bread ... completely unnecessary and a cleaning nightmare. The bags aren't super durable ... they can rip along the seams during washing. I avoid that by letting bag completely cool so that any extra cheese will just fall out, then I ever so gently wash it.

Quick and easy to make toasted cheese sandwiches or to warm up fries, pizza slices. Washing after each use is recommended. Dishwasher safe. Toaster with wide slots necessary.

These are great! I have used them to heat up frozen hash brown patties in the toaster at work, and they come out perfect! Golden brown and crispy! They start to deteriorate after 10-20 uses, but I will definitely buy more!

These Toastabags make great tasting sandwiches w/out the mess. Any kid who can use a toaster can use them, and college students love them! The packaging states they will last approx. 50 uses, but I find it to be about half that. But certainly worth the price anyway!

I didn't know until I received them that you could also use these to reheat pizza! I used it on a slice of bbq chicken pizza from trader joes at work for lunch. The cheese was melted and the crust was crispy! Almost as if I took it out of the oven!I'll be honest in that I haven't tried this with the grilled cheese yet but I'm really excited to after the results of the pizza.
