LOOKS AMAZING
UPDATE: 12/9/2016I recently purchased some of the High Gloss Pastel PLA from ATK3D because I wanted to try something a bit different in my 3D Printer. While there are plenty of specialty filaments out there some require upgrades, or consume lots of time trying to get good prints. The High Gloss Pastel caught my eye with its unique shimmer and the way it catches the light.Knowing from the outset that these were targeted for 3d Pens I did a quick test to find the ideal temperature for the best layer adhesion. I was very surprised at how well the finish came out across a huge 40* C range. I printed from 220C all the way down to 175*C, and the best layer adhesion started at 185*C. The most interesting thing to me was the surface finish transition, which was a first for me. Between 220C to 205C the surface finish is a definite gloss, at 200C it's semi-gloss, and at 195*C it's noticeably a matte finish. The finish and look is the key thing with this PLA, it has an almost opalescent shimmer, or kind of like that shimmer that high quality reflective stickers have. The way it glints is just awesome, it's not powdered bits, it's not reflective glitter, it's actually the filament itself. In terms of print results, there were no surprises here. I literally only had to correct for the filament size which was towards the small end, but still an acceptable 1.70mm (using Mitutoyo Absolute Digital calipers). I had flawless prints, with the same physical strength and flex properties I would expect from quality PLA (as compared to bargain bin super brittle stuff). The High Gloss Pastel PLA was great, and the only bummer was running out and not having more. The good news is I've already ordered more. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. My Settings:200C Extruder55C Printer Bed0.2 layers on a 0.4 nozzleActive Cooling after Layer 3Will print on glass bed plate with skirt/brimTo best highlight the filaments shimmery properties print thicker layers if possible. Parts printed at 0.2mm are noticeably more eye catching than those printed 0.1mm. If I had a 0.6 nozzle I'd be tempted to go as high as 0.4 layers.PS. I'm wasn't paid to write this, and I didn't get any free stuff for it either. Just a real review from a very happy customer. This review is for the "PASTEL" not the Primary colors. This stuff look as glossy, shimmery, and amazing in real life as it does in the picture. It is NOT photoshopped. I should have some test prints of this up this weekend. I'll update as I can, however assuming this prints well, I WISH I could buy it in more than sample rolls. I'm going to be running this in a FlashForge Creator Pro 3d printer, not a printer pen.Did a test print, best gloss, and finish is @ 200° C. Below that it goes to a matte finish instead of glossy. Filament diameter was average 1.70mm, no problems printing when corrected for.

This is not the right amount of filament....what they send looks pretty though...just not the advertised amount
Don't waste your time. The posting for the item clearly says that the Filament is 32 feet apiece. And Both Cura and my eyes can tell with my half finished model that I printed that the spools are actually approximately half that each.

Beautiful Shiny Colors
I bought the "pastel" selection first, and liked it so much I ordered the "primary" selection as well. So far I've printed with the green and the purple, both of which look stunning, and the orangish-red, which isn't as shiny as the other two for some reason. Filament sectional diameter is consistent, better than most PLA assortment packs. I printed these at 210ºC with good flow and gloss. Very happy so far, would buy again.
