DoDoLightness Micro LED 20 Purple Color Lights Battery Operated on 7ft Long Silver Color Ultra Thin String Wire

These are great, I'm taking a star off because they are being sold for $2.46 at a certain large online auction site. These are incredible, mostly because they are VERY bright, VERY colorful and last a LONG time.I use these for my kids Halloween baskets, I zip tie them to the outside of their baskets (battery pack inside) and you can see them easily 100 yards away. If you are on a dark street with kids running everywhere it is AWESOME to be able to tell exactly where your kids are. If you give them different colors (which I do) then you can even see which kid is lagging behind or getting too far ahead of the group. They are also bright enough that you can actually see the ground around you for 5-10 feet so you don't need a flashlight.Last Halloween I wrapped my hat with a set of lights and the kids could always see where the adult was, I was like a light house walking down the street.For safety I can't recommend these strongly enough for any outdoor activity with kids. Again, one star off simply because they can be found for around $2.50 shipped, but you don't get the amazon prime guarantee.

My toddler loves purple and I decided to buy this for his bunk bed. It's battery-powered but the battery cover is easy to break. I've just been using tape for both, which is no big deal. (I bought 2 and both covers broke off, making it difficult to contain the batteries and would keep turning the lights off.) The lights were very pretty though and bright enough to read for a bedtime story a short period. I just have to add that it looks weird in pictures.. especially when the light shines on the skin or teeth, and this is for both daytime and night time. (In case people use it for decorations and decide to take pics with it.) My son is very happy with them though!

I use these as the light source in an up-cycled lantern/lamp that I make from cardboard tubing and plastic bottles. They wok great. Only reason for 4 stars is that the battery case is a bit chintzy and doesn't like to stay snapped shut very well. It does have a tiny screw hole to screw it shut, but no screws were included in this order (I have gotten them from a different manufacturer before). A piece of tape does the trick however.

When I bought these I wasn't sure what to expect. They only cost a few dollars and when installed work perfectly. I haven't run them for an extended period of time, so I can't comment on how much they drain batteries, but they all worked and are very bright. A good buy.

These lights are not purple! The color of the micro LED bulbs are pink with every other micro bulb shining a Perry Winkle like color. Not quite blue but, more blue than purple. They also take 3 AA batteries making it heavier. I am better off sticking with EL wire. Only takes 2 AA batteries, the total weight is less, has brighter light & can detach from the wire for easy transport and able to change color of the EL wire.

Just to see how long they would glow, we popped some dollar store batteries in it. Two and a half weeks later they are still glowing. I wasn't going to put them around my plants because I didn't want to have to awkwardly change the batteries all the time, but now I won't worry about that!

Most Fairy lights do not take 3AA batteries. I have strands of fairy lights that have 30-40 bulbs and they don't require a big bulky battery compartment that uses 3AA batteries. There are only 20 bulbs on this string and the picture they used in their advertisement doesn't look anything like these lights. These lights are mostly white with a tiny hint of purple. Nothing like lights in their ad photo not to mention the cost of this string of light was $6.99 and I thought they charged that much because they were offering a truly purple color of lights. The worst thing is that I can't return this item for a refund. What a rip off!

Item was received as expected. Worked perfectly for my use, very bright and the color is vibrant. If I need more I know where to get them. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone needing to use Micro-LED's.
