Brooks Pannier system (Left + Right Bags) for F800GS/F700GS/F650GS TWIN

(2008 F800GS) Alright, somehow I am the first to review this.. I do not really understand how that is possible because these things are awesome. First, I purchased them and had them withing the same week. Second, they are SO much cheaper than the other panniers that I could have purchased. Third, I truly expected the quality of these panniers to be at a minimum much lower than Touratech, however they seem to be just fine. I am sure Touratech is better, however they are MUCH more expensive. Anyways, once they arrived at my door, I put them on and departed the next morning for an adventure in the Sierra Ancha Wilderness out near Young Arizona. A buddy and I intended on taking a forest road to young from the Roosevelt Damn area. The road that we choose quickly turned into a nightmare, we ended up turning around after a solid 13 hours of riding and dropping our bikes. I honestly could not tell you how many times I dropped my bike, however I can tell you that my non-name brand pannier held up like champs. They have some deep scratches along the bottoms, however they are still square and totally fine. The latch mechanisms that come with the standard set up lock on all 4 latches, and the pair of panniers comes with 3 keys. I truly could not imagine ever beating on these like I did with literally no serious damage, they passed my test. Also, we had a number of water crossings with no leaks. I already have a friend who is buying some for his F800GS, I would recommend them to any of my fellow riders, even the gear snobs.

These seem to be quality cases. They are constructed well and have lip seals that are keeping the rain/water out as of the first 4,000 miles of usage on my 2017 F800GS. I'm pleased with this purchase and it saved me quite a bit of money compared to the leading brands. I added the top case and I'm delighted with the system. I also installed a Camel Tank (auxiliary fuel tank) and it fit adjacent to the right Brooks side case with a minor adjustment to the rear cross bar, but no major issues. These cases are of far more robust construction than the BMW plastic cases.

I've been using these for a couple of years, they are quality panniers and the customer service is great.

They are awesome! Perfect fit..nice finish.. excellent quality.. almost the same to touratech but 1/3 the cost. Taking in mind that these ones are anodized...
