Yeipis XXL 8x8 Inch 316L Cast Iron Cleaner - Suitable for Various Wares

I ordered the Yepis Cast Iron Cleaner in order to find something that would really get my cast iron pans clean. I have been using cast iron for over 20 years and sometimes it can be a challenge to get clean.First off, I want to say that it comes beautifully packaged giving you that ‘green, eco-friendly’ feel. It is well constructed and feels as though it will last a long time. It is also very attractive, looks nice hanging in the kitchen and comes with it's own drawstring storage bag.I decided to put it to the test on some cooked on food residue that had sat and dried on one of my pans. I let it soak for about 5 minutes and then put the cast iron cleaner to work. It did a decent job of scrubbing but did not work as well as I had hoped which is why I am only giving it four stars. It still does the job but I find that it took a little more effort scrubbing than my green, scratchy sponge.It is a nice alternative to the disposable scrubbers and sponges and I like the fact that it is ecofriendly; I will continue to use it with a different detergent to possibly increase its scrubbing effectiveness.Overall, it is a good product, an advantage it has over sponges and scrubbers is that it is easy to disinfect, reusable and will not come apart, rust or crumble on you.

If you are a die hard cast iron user, this is a must for cleaning and maintaining your cast iron pans. We use cast iron almost exclusively in our home and this thing cut cleaning time in half.
