Conference room set up
We installed this in three conference rooms and have been really liking them so far. The quality is good, camera and sound works well. Be sure and by the remote. It doesn’t come with it and you lose a lot of the function without it.

Its not expensive compared to other options
At work, for our conference room we have 85" Microsoft Surface Hub 3's which cost 22k before the add-on. They work well as we primary use MS teams and its nice having a large touch screen but honestly nobody uses the pen to write on the screen. We had been having more meetings with outside customers that use zoom and while the Surface Hub 3 works for zoom it's been optimized for teams of course. So that being said in the application developers conference room we just had a 48 inch TV and a cable to plug our laptops into and would use the web cam on the laptop to show everyone in the room so yeah it was terrible. When this came up for me to review, I thought this might be the solution we need to get a better experience at a better cost than what we have since the big boss wouldn't approve spending 22k for us to get our own MS Hub 3. So I went ahead and ordered a Samsung 85 inch OLED TV, an Intel NUC Computer and had facilities wall mount it along with this Jabra unit. I will say, this thing was a breeze to install, it has a template that tells you exactly where to mount it and our faculties guys had it mounted in under 5 min. We even had a nice clean look as the NUC was able to be mounted behind the TV and because the unit is so close to the bottom of the TV you can hardly see the wires.Installation of the software was straight forward, and we didn't have to do anything beyond that to enable all its features. When we connected to a meeting via zoom everything just worked perfectly. The video quality this thing captures is outstanding. I connected to the meeting with my laptop and was extremely pleased by the quality I was seeing. The microphone array this has also worked very well, the room we were in has a bit of echo in it and these microphones handled that without any issues. I will say the speakers could be a little better but this unit is fairly small, so the speakers are too. We just ended up pairing Bluetooth speakers to the NUC and using that. This also doesn't come with the Jabra remote, I would highly recommend buying that even though its $50 so you don't have to keep going into the software to make changes. The FOV is also much wider than the MS Surface Hub 3 so everyone was in the video at the same timeAll in I spent $3900, not including the Jabra with most of that being the OLED TVIf you went with an LCD TV at 85 inch, plus this Jabra plus a decent set of bluetooth speakers you still well under 3k which is leaps and bounds cheaper than other solutions. So if you're looking for a good conference room system that works across many different platforms this is a great choice.

Doesn't come with a remote - App doesn't work
In all fairness, I cannot say how well this camera works. It does not come with a remote to make any adjustments (including volume control), and the app does not work. The setup is easy enough. However, this purchase is a disappointment without the ability to control where the camera focuses and the speaker's volume. If your product depends on a remote control to complete and adjust its operation, it should be included with the camera.

Video conferencing excellence from Jabra
Jabra products might never be the 'flavor of the month' among social media influencers, but when it comes to communications products for the intersection of work and life they're as good as it gets. There's a stat on the Jabra website that '80% of the world's Fortune 500 companies rely on Jabra'. Based on my experience that might be a little low. In fact, I can't think of one serious business professional on my contact list that doesn't have at least one Jabra product.I have a Jabra product for just about every use case. I use a mono Jabra Bluetooth headset when I need to make calls on the go. I have a Jabra Evolve2 headset on my desk at home and at my office. I have a Jabra speakerphone that I use when working remotely. You get the idea. It should be no surprise that I turned to Jabra when it was time to upgrade the video conferencing capabilities at my office. I ordered this system--the PanaCast 50--and it not only did the job but exceeded my expectations. The form factor is interesting. It looks like a high end TV sound bar and it definitely delivers good sound. There are also three cameras on a small cylinder in the center of the bar. When I first saw a picture of it I initially thought that it was just a mega-speaker phone. The cameras are nothing if not discreet but they're amazingly effective. Most high end conference systems use cameras that move to follow the speaker(s). The Pancast 50 uses the three 13MP cameras and then stitches the output together into one extremely wide image. This means you can get a 180 degree view of the meeting participants. Depending on how you set it up, it works equally well for a small group or a larger conference room.Since it looks like a sound bar you'd expect it to handle audio well. The device uses four very capable speakers that delivers all of the volume you need without distortion, echo or any other distracting interference. You can definitely hear well and thanks to 8 beamforming microphones with excellent noise suppression. The speaker detection is particularly impressive--it can effectively find the current speaker in the room even if someone on the other end is still talking. You know, like in a real conversation. There's a lot of technological smarts packed under the hood that ties it all together. The intelligent zoom is just that and the device automatically adjusts to deliver excellent video quality in poorly lit rooms or in changing lighting conditions. It works with all of the major conferencing platforms including the ones I use the most (Zoom and Google Meet). It's as if the device conceptually understands how meetings work and delivers the best quality conferencing possible based on the current situation.Obviously, remote meetings, hybrid work, etc. is a very popular niche right now and one with plenty of competition. At this point, however, the PanaCast 50 is IMO the best tool for small to medium sized meeting and conference rooms on the market. Very highly recommended!

Excellent conference webcam and speaker!
For this price you expect nothing but the best, and Jabra doesn't disappoint! The webcam is high-end in every way. Picture quality is amazing, very crisp and clear quality, stunning 4k resolution. Very wide viewing angle at 180 degrees. The speaker quality is phenomenal as well, loud enough for 20 plus people to hear, sound is crystal clear. The mics work great and is able to pick up every little detail. This Jabra PanaCast50 is truly the best!My only complaint is at this price it should include the remote! Or at least an option to get the remote, the hub, and the webcam in a complete kit. Even just the webcam and remote would be nice, but honestly it really should be included! other than that, no complaints.
