Grandson loved it
It taught us both a lot. Answered his many questions about manual transmissions. Well designed and sturdy. Everything needed is in the kit. Regarding complaints that you need strong hands/fingers to remove pieces, the "helper" tool (H) made piece removal easy, as well as assisting in many steps of assembly

A Great Teaching Tool
Love building these STEM kits from UGEARS. For myself its a great way to show my grandson how certain mechanical things work. The kit designs are very creative. The kits are instructive on the need to pay attention to details. The first kit I did taught me that. I've acquired certain tools since then to also help in building them. I went from constructing balsa wood airplanes to this and I love it!

One of the best 3-D wooden puzzles I’ve done
3D wooden puzzles are my favorite hobby, I’ve assembled all different types from clocks to elastic guns and marble runs. This was definitely one of the funnest and neatest ones I’ve done, and the price was very inexpensive.

Slightly disappointing
We have built a number of Ugears models in the past and this one doesn't quite measure up. The gearbox itself works perfectly but the actual dimensions are very small (less than 6") and the mechanism took some effort to get it to run smoothly. It took my kid about 3 hours to assemble with some help from adults and the instructions are very clear. Overall the gearbox model is a bit underwhelming but for what we paid I'm moderately pleased.

Well Thought Out.
The media could not be loaded. This is a well designed and implemented model of the ingenious differential mechanism. By buying it you are making a small contribution to the Ukrainian people.I attached a small gear motor to the model. The video shows it in action.

A great learning tool
My daughter loves these mechanical puzzles. She's now built three of them (my favourite is this gearbox). They take about 3-4 hours to build and perfect for 12 years old on up to adult. Once built, they're a great conversation piece.

Hilft Technik zu verstehen.
Habe das Modell noch nicht gebaut. Kann aber nach Sichtung des Baukastens sagen, das wie erwartet die Qualität des Material, der Vorbereitung wie auch der Bauanleitung den mir bekannten hohen Standard von Ugears entspricht. Ich habe zusätzlich auch noch das Differential, das Getriebe und die Variomatik hier liegen. Auch hier entspricht alles dem hohen Ugears Standard.Ist für Jemand der Technik interessiert ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
