The 100-micron thickness really does make a difference — these are up there with the best trade-quality sacks I’ve used.What I really like is that they’re made from 100% recycled material, which is a massive bonus. It's not always easy to find eco-conscious products that actually perform, so this feels like a win-win — environmentally friendly without compromising on strength.The plastic has a slightly rough matte texture, which makes them easier to grip and tie up compared to the shiny smooth ones that slide all over the place. I’ve used cable ties, duct tape and even just twisted the top, and they hold secure every time. I’ve kept a few aside for future renovations too — they fold flat and don’t take up much space in the shed.Only small point is that because they’re so thick, they’re not as stretchy or forgiving as regular bin bags — you do need to pack them with a bit of care, but once full, they’ll take a surprising amount of weight.Overall, the Haya Home rubble sacks are brilliant.
