I've been looking for something marble. I didn't want a small marble trinket tray because I don't think you can really see how pretty the marble is and I don't need another set of candle holders. This is small but it's very pretty and you can see how pretty the marble is with it sitting on a shelf. The brass knob is what sold me on this one vs other salt cellars. I think it really elevates it.

I wish it was a smidge bigger size and had a rubber stopper to seal it up better but overall it does a great job and made well. One came with debris on it so be careful and clean it before using
