Falls apart and stinks
I bought this based on reviews and price. One person said didn't smell bad, another said good quality. Well, you get what you pay for. Should have paid more attention to the guy who shared a photo after washing. First, these blankets look great on arrival but stink like a very musty mildewy shipping container. Second, washed and dried according to tag, and two blankets disintegrated into three. See photo. This is most of the messy crap that was all through my washing machine, and the fluffy stuff is from what became my very clogged lint trap. Likely a bloody fire hazard. I would like a full refund.

Do not buy
This blanket smelled VERY strongly of mildew/rot straight out of the packaging. I washed it on gentle cycle and it came apart

DO NOT BUY! Dont be fooled by 4 stars
Product came smelling SO MOLDY i threw it immediately in the wash (I was going to throw it out) and tried to out beat the shrinking as other reviewers said by putting it on cold wash and cold dry but I laughed so hard when I took the blanket out and see how it shrank up like a childs blanket. Mold smell still kinda lingering just barely but im scared to wash again. who knows if I pull it out it again might be the size of a cat blanket.

Potential fire hazard!
After I washed this blanket I was shocked to see long, tangled gobs hanging off the tassels. I gently pulled off the matted mess before putting the blanket in the dryer on air fluff. In no time at all the lint tray was full. Eventually I put it on a short drying cycle and when I checked, the lint trap was full again. It still smelled musty so I ended up rewashing it (By the end of 2nd wash there was very little yarn left on the tassels). The lint tray was again full after being in the dryer for a short time. If I had not been continually clearing the lint tray there could have been a dryer fire. So glad I didn't send this as a gift. Amazon needs to do more to enure quality and safety in their products!

Really pretty. It smells, just wash it
I love it. A lot of reviews mentioned the smell and that it fell apart when they washed it. So I’ll address those - yes, it smells gross. Smells strongly musty when it arrives. I washed mine on gentle, I have a newer washer so it has a woollens setting. Laid it out in the sun to dry and it’s perfect, no more smell, no shedding etc. like a lot of reviews said. SO... I looked back at some of the reviews 🤣 and 99% were in the dryer lol... if you’re clueless enough to put a loose knit in the dryer, I’m glad it only clogged up your lint trap and didn’t set your house on fire!!!
