These worked great for me when I went on a two week vacation. Even my basil survived and it needs watered everyday! One tip: put a small piece of material or something similar over the tip so it doesn’t get clogged with soil when you put it in the planter.

I was getting tired of watering my plants on a weekly basis and sometimes over watering. Now I fill these globes and my plants drink what they need. I love that they're clear so there is no added color to my plants.I also appreciate that the set comes with a variety of sizes for your different sized plants.

These watering bulbs did not work at all. The minute you turn them upside down and push them into the soil, all of the water immediately drains out. I don’t see any way that I can reposition them so that they release water more slowly. There’s no way that my potted plants will survive a week if I’m relying on these watering bulbs to keep them hydrated while I am away. I’m very disappointed!

These are plastic, which is great bc I dropped one first thing out of the box, and it just bounced.From using them for a few months now, I learned a couple of things to help the water from draining within a day or few hours. First, water the plant -before- you put this in the plant. If it’s already saturated, it’s not going to suck the water out as quickly.I have some plants that are thirstier than others. I generally will put 2 bulbs of water in those plants.Also, make sure you are giving it a good push in there so it has some resistance. Sometimes a little dirt will bubble up to the surface, no big deal.Mine last about a week in between fills. I liked them so much, I sent some to my mom.

Bought these for office plants and even though I used as directed, the water seeped out of every single bulb within 1-2 hours. Buyer beware, you’ll leave on vacation thinking your plants will be OK, and instead they’ll be extra-saturated for one day and then bone dry for however long you’re gone.

These are supposed to slowly release water as your plant dries out, but I filled several of these in different plants and in less than an hour the water was gone. It could be operator error but that defeats the purpose of using them.

Used as directed. Expected to use during vacation but they were fully drained of water within hours!

I purchased these to keep my plants watered for a 10 day vacation. The water only lasted 2 days. Lickily I had a neighbor check on them so they survived my time away.
