5 * good stuff but
I purchased a bag in February and they were great and I would have given them a 5 star but ordered another bag in April and they were either too roasted or something but not good at all. Instead of giving a bad review I messaged the company and said I wanted to just send them back and have another sent out and all I got was the same automated response that all the 1 stars got as an answer from the company, No instructions as to what to do to replace them. So I am in limbo and not sure I want to ever order from them again. Like I said the first bag was great

Rotten Old Almonds Mixed With Some New
We've repeatedly gotten these for over a year now. The first batch was delicious so I bought the 25 Lb bag. That was a big disappointment. It seemed like we'd been sent their old stock. We had to spit out many of those disgusting almonds. Then we went back to the 3 Lb bags. We've had different quality bags each time, probably averaging less than 2 stars, but I gave them 2 just to show I'm not being unreasonable. By the way, we kept them frozen until consuming them. This last 3 Lb was the worst of all, so now probably isn't the best time to start with them.Apparently they're a huge operation, and decided to sell their old stock on Amazon instead of throwing it away, or making dog food out of it.*** 2/15/2020 -- I'm updating my review to one star because it's become normal practice to get their old stock. I emailed the company at one point to complain, and someone responded that they'd be happy to send me a replacement for what I sent back. The only problem with that is that I had already spit out or eaten most of the rotten stale almonds I was complaining about. I, and I think everyone else who has had their great and rotten almonds, simply want them to grind up the old bad ones and mulch them back into the soil for the trees. This despicable practice of this company makes it crystal clear that they have a gross lack of integrity. If they would purposely mix old rotten almonds with the new crop with about 2/3 old, bad crop to 1/3 new crop (and decreasing), knowing that families and their young children will eat them, then how can we trust their claim to be "better than organic"? We can't. If they have such a blatant lack of respect for their customers we can't trust that they don't use all sorts of chemical fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, and insecticides on their orchards. If it's just the decision of one or a few in the company to feed rotten almonds to so many of us, then those need to be let go so that the honest workers there can begin to make a better name for the company.

Overcooked & burned!!
Almost all almonds were overcooked or burned. Inedible. Very disappointed. I’ve been ordering these for two years with no problem. No returns on a defective and inedible product??? Look at my order history on this product. Three pounds of inedible junk. You don't stand by your product? Why is Amazon still selling this? $25 of product in the trash.

Taste is fine, grown on living soil w fresh water, use steam not gas sterilization
These estate grown, ie single source almonds are advertised as better than organic, steam processed, light roast etc and I thought My, that sounds good! Well, they're fine tasting, with a delicate fresh flavor, and after I got used to them (as opposed to the last of the dried up Diamond brand I had), I found I craved their singular delicious flavor. They taste much better than others, tho it took me a week to realize that. They're kind of chewy, not really hard, and taste good raw or soaked or added to food. I will definitely buy more, on account of their persuasive promotion of their exemplary soil and water, and because they are good vibe food to eat. I repeat, they're good, but their origins are what initially sold me. I will always recommend these over a brand made with who knows what almond sources. Better earth and water elements mean better nutrition, right? So, buy without hesitation, for flavor, nutrition and good vibes food grown with consciousness by a ranch family. If you want to find out about their company, which is interesting because of their devotion to the land, check their website, where there's also a vid showing Dr. Ruby making almond pesto from their almonds. Interesting growers, 5* almonds.

By far, the best almonds I have EVER had!
Geez, I seriously can't get over how good these taste. Fireworks go off in my brain with each bite. And I know this is my body telling me these are very healthy. I've eaten so many different brands of almonds in my life and nothing even comes close to this. I just wish they didn't sell out so quickly! We like to add ours to a glass jar (with cap), add pink or red salt, and shake it up for additional minerals and electrolytes.I'm writing this review after snacking on a few. The taste is still in my mouth as I reach the end of this review. Gosh, just, so, so, so overly delicious.

False advertising
The so called "wild soil" is snake oil marketing to be sure. Almonds are not in a resealable bag as advertised. Instead they are in a very thin poly bag that readily tears wide open, no matter how careful you try to be. Product date code was very close to end date. Wild Soil Almonds are not any soft. Nor do they taste better. Price is very high in comparison to others. In comparison Trader Joe's organic Raw Almonds Nonpareil Supreme are far superior and less costly. They are steam pasteurized versus roasted, and they are on the softer chewier side. Whole foods organic Almonds are my second favorite.

2 stars
Tasted a little bit stale, but bearable. If it was a bit more fresh, these would be the ultimate. I’m going to have to edit my review a bit. After consuming these almonds for a few weeks, I noticed that if I eat them as a snack and not couple with other food, it gives me a terrible stomach ache for hours. Never had this reaction from almonds before. Is it not roasted enough? Are there pesticides in it? Not sure...wont be buying again.
