I'm pretty darn happy.
I'm an old school player that fell out of the game in 2006 after high school that is getting back into the game. I had the original versions of all these decks so this is a huge nostalgia factor. They have all been updated to synergize better than the old starter decks and to better match the show. It include some of the newer summon systems.I was excited about exodia and the god card but I also got 3 blue eyes in 3 different arts and a blue eyes ultimate. You get a synchro and an Xyz monster. Lots of holos. And the best card in the whole game, Kaibaman(just because I love that kaiba put himself on a card). You get about 120ish cards for not a lot of money and they are 3 separate playable decks.Unfortunately you will not be doing much winning in tournaments but you can be the champion of the lunch room. They include some solid tactics just not enough cards supporting those tactics to rely too heavily on them. In a world where people fill all their monster zones first turn, these just rely too heavily on luck.

Awesome product! Good deal
Great product! I give this product five stars. The decks are according to the story in the series. My only complaint is that Yugi's deck did not include the Summoned Skull (if you are a Yugioh fan you know what I mean). Summoned skull is a very common and repeated character in Yugi's duels. However, they did include the three Egyptian Gods, the Exodia, Dark Magicians, Dark Magician Girl, etc.Joey's deck is also good. It includes the Time Wizard, Baby Dragon, Jinzo, etc. Finally, Kaiba's deck is Blue-Eyes Dragons based which is accurate to the anime. In general, the graphics of the cards are great, the holos are amazing and it is an outstanding deal (Price is good)

Deck impressions- fairly solid. Collectors/ competitors, be aware.
I bought this mostly out of nostalgia, but also to experiment how my cards stack up against these decks. Just wow.Pretty handsome, presentation- wise borderline ostentatious. I was almost tempted to buy another because I did not really want to unbox this set.One flaw about the set I observed, however, was that 3-4 cards in the Kaiba deck only, were semi jagged edges on the bottom edges and one going up the left side. This was only a minor triviality, as the damage was incredibly minor, and as I had to unwrap the decks individually, not unlike the box it came in, top discovery it; therefore, the damage was most likely to have been caused by the blades of the die-cutting machinery at the time these cards were cut and produced, most likely in 2016. Thankfully, I had card sleeves on hand, and this tiny boo-boo didn't affect playability. Collectors may want to be a bit mindful of this box. When I had sleeved the rest of the cards, the spaces made for the decks by the plastic insert were too small to sit the cards flush with the top. Removing the insert freed up the space, but I had to place the decks in sandwich baggies (deck boxes are next on the list) to keep them separated, but the box is spacious that there's no real issue. Now my impressions of the actual decks-- for collectors/ competitors:All 3 decks are fairly good, as far as beginners/ intermediate players are concerned. To everyone else, this set is a very modest collection, but price wise, you can do worse going through other avenues.Rating them though... unsurprisingly, the lowest on the totem pole is Joey's, for unconventional construction with misleading strategy, but not only real complaints are 2 principles: The inclusion of "Archfiend Black Skull Dragon" fusion monster is a powerful card you could only look at, and not be able to actually play, due to the "recipe requirement". You require one normal Red Eyes normal monster (of which, the majority of the multiple red eyes effect monsters in the deck are explicitly treated as normal in their text unless you summon them), but also 1 level 6 Archfiend normal monster, which this deck has none of; there's no fiend monsters in this deck, alone, that qualify (and, surprisingly, not in the Yugi deck of this set, either). This deck has the Alligators Sword monster+Baby Dragon fusion, but no "Thousand Years Dragon" fusion monster. Konami literally just threw this deck together, as is evident with my other complaint. The goal of this deck is to support all the Red Eyes monsters, but more than half the deck doesn't support that goal, more do those cars seem to have any alternative goal, and also, this deck is very "anti- Red Eyes B. Chick", a card that isn't even included in this deck to begin with. 5/10Going in the complete opposite direction, Kaiba's deck is more aggressive, but possesses a very clear strategy: Overpower the guy you're playing across from with your Blue Eyes/ Blue Eyes White Dragons, or just overpower him anyway, protect your dragons, and winning the 2/3 within 10 minutes if you're not playing with a total amateur/ profoundly learning disabled. Also, with the inclusion of the synchro "Azure Eyes Silver Dragon", this deck is a very friendly introduction to synchro summoning. This deck is ahead of the curve. 9/10Yugi's deck is about as simple as it is semi- unconventional. This deck does contain the illegal God cards, but is not really built for them, due to the Dark Magician/Girl and Exodia/Exodia-variant support strategy. Essentially, this deck boils down to drawing/ winning with Exodia/variants or apply merciless pressure with your Magicians. And to fill in for the 3 God cards you remove because tournament rules, this box includes 2 spells and 1 trap to support your Dark Magician Girl. Though personally, if your friends are cool enough, the God Card strategy is actually a reasonable handicap to this deck, plus it pushes the count up to 44 cards for this particular deck, giving them a slightly better chance to stop you so you aren't too overpowered. Imo, if they can't stop you, they deserve to lose. 9/10
