I got this to use with my smoker for things like cheese, hard boiled eggs, fish, nuts, etc. The idea is to get the most smoke on your foods as you can and this prevents having to flip things and such. I also have smoke mats that work great but with things like smoked hard boiled eggs, they roll all around and fly off and it just sucks.I make smoked fish dip and just shred fish in to chunks and toss in the basket to smoke. Smoked deviled eggs, smoked nuts, smoked cream cheese, other smoked cheeses all work great with this basket. (note cheeses I cold smoke)If it can roll around or will fall through the mesh smoker mats, try this and you will be happy.

I use this in a large ultrasonic parts cleaner to hold the tiny parts that are difficult to clean and keep track of. I wish it was a little deeper.

Quality not there for the cost. Flimsy. Was hoping to use it to hold used flatware and utensils, rinsed, before putting in dishwasher

I bought two of them to create a clam shell by putting one upside down on top of the other one and then tying both together with thin wire to create an enclosure for small food items; then I put the enclosed food shell in my 2 ½ gallon R&H ultrasound food machine.

Arrived in perfect condition, large enough to use when rinsing vegetables. Sturdy for my uses in the kitchen. I ordered this because it is square, which is very suitable for rinsing carrots or long slices of zucchini.

This basket (and an equally narrow-spaced cooling rack that serves as lid) makes popping small corn kernels possible, eliminating the need for a separate corn popping appliance. Convenient and saves money.One precaution, though. Do not spray or moisten the corn kernels with oil or flavored butter before (or after) putting the basket in the oven; that will surely ignite a fire.
