still working great!
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: After more than a year, pump is still working great. As long as you clean gunk out of the pump every so often, it will last a while. Honestly, I've only cleaned it three times so far.As soon as I put this out in the sun it started working. I am using it as a hummingbird fountain and it's perfect for that. I rigged up the fountain according to a youtube video I saw. Very easy assembly, the tubing that comes with it fits perfectly to the base of the pump. If you wanted to purchase additional tubing, the opening is right at 5/16". As you can see and hear in the video, it has a very strong flow coming up through the nozzle, I have the pump sitting at the bottom of an old planter and the water is pumping up through about 8" of tubing and is doing a pretty good job pushing water up and out at that distance. For a small pump, it is surprisingly powerful. I've had it for 2 months and I haven't had to clean the filter yet, but not much can get through the small holes I've made in the top cover, it keeps leaves and other debris from clogging filter. Two months later, it's still working very well. I also observed the fountain working in complete cloud coverage on a few occasions. It wasn't coming out as high as it was in the video, but it was a steady flow, to be honest, it is not the norm, most overcast days it does not work. The still photo was taken in the rain and you can see how well it was pumping out. The video was taken on a sunny day, but in a partly shaded area. It doesn't work at all at night, but it's not expected to, it has no battery back up. I would definitely purchase another one.

Works great for a bird bath
The media could not be loaded. I’ve actually bought one of these before that to be quite frank I didn’t take very good care of over the winter garden :/. So I had to build myself a new little hummingbird bath and ordered this product again. As you can see in the video, it became a blue bird bath. It comes with almost* everything that you need to run a small bath or fountain. Initially I had used one of the dispersal attachments, but found out that my little birds were not fond of that added piece. Today a hummingbird is checking out my water situation, so score one for the bird nerd! The * is because I believe the manufacturer assumes that you are not going to not attach the hose to one of the end sprayer pieces directly and there’s no piece included that inserts to the hose on one end and then would insert to the sprayer pieces on the other unless I was missing something. I don’t think I was missing something though, because this is my second purchase and neither had it. I guess you would consider it a male to male piece. Nothing some silicone caulk can’t fix up or some hot glue or whatever you have on hand. Would be five stars if it did. My hummingbird bath consists of an inexpensive planter pot with no holes at the bottom, the pump is hot glued to the bottom. It does have silicone grippe auxtion cups that would’ve worked, a fairly sturdy plastic plate with a deep rim I scored for $.50 at Amazon’s competitor store, holes drilled in it, a large hard Styrofoam ball the tube runs through. I drilled a small U-shaped in the side of the top of the pot to allow the panel cord to come out one side and hung up the panel of the top of my shepherds hook so the water runs as soon as the sun is high enough to hit the panel until early evening. Works exactly as intended, even on days when it’s slightly cloudy. There’s no end to what you can craft a fountain out of using one of these to help out your woodland friends.

Great for diy fountains
These do a great job on my DIY fountain leading into a small bird bath in my back yard. So far it's been in use for over a month and it's worked consistently. It has the power needed to carry the water up 3 feet to the top of the fountain. The kit came with plenty of fittings and tubing to do what I needed it to do. Another great feature is the auto shut off. My fountain isnt very deep, and during the 100 degree heat, i wasnt thinking about refilling it.Well water evaporated and the pump stopped running. I was qorried at first, but then realized it only turns on of water is contacting the pump which is awesome. The #1 reason for pump failure is running them dry, and with this you wont have to worry about itI have no complaints, and I'll be buying another set if I have another fountain project in the future.

Worked great until it stopped working
It worked great for a few months and has stopped working. I bought three different size pumps and only one with a different brand solar panel is still working.

Cloudy solar panel
There seems to be no way to contact this company other then through a review as your help on line doesn’t cover my issue. The pump still works at this moment, but the issue is that the solar panel it self has a haze on it I assume from rain/sun. This haze doesn’t come off and when I try to clean it. Looks acceptable wet but when it’s dry it turns white. Purchased October 2024

Great solar fountain pump!
Great little fountain pump! Easy to get up and running. I have mine on a “low gurgle” setting instead of a spray due to evaporation in the desert. The first bird to visit was a Cooper’s Hawk! Unfortunately I think he is keeping other birds from using the fountain.
